The 21mm looks great, thanks for the review. The Vespids certainly pack amazing performance for price, and punch way above their weight for focus breathing from what I can see. It'd be great to see the 21 and 40 on a full frame camera for those of us who shoot full frame, but so far all footage available seems to be on S35 cams. I'm surprised DZO doesn't seem to have reached out to full frame shooters to showcase these (yet ). Thanks again 👍
@@trizzleseven I ended up getting the 21mm and have been using it on a Z Cam E2F6 over the past year. It's gorgeous and so useful being able to use it in both full frame and s35 on the F6. No vignette, just Vespid goodness. I also like that the front element doesn't protrude, so you can put filters on it just fine. I rarely need to go wider than 21mm so it gets a lot of use.
When it comes to the optical qualities of this lens, it delivers identical results across various crop factors. The only distinction is the size of the captured image. Everything else about the image quality remains consistent. 😊

21mm on super35 is what Spielberg used for most of his shots. It’s more versatile on super35, i think that’s why
