The more you dive into Jordan’s career, the more impressive it gets. The more you dive into Lebron’s, the opposite is true. Lebron spent his entire prime shaking and jiving to teams with stacked rosters and was able to win a repeat (just barely.) Then got gentlemen’s swept trying to 3peat. MJ 3peated, left for 2yrs, came back and 3peated AGAIN with an entirely different roster except for Pippen. Nick Nose for instance, all he ever says is Lebrons bigger, stronger, faster. What's that have to do with being better at basketball? Stats don't lie. That's why he never brings them up bigger then a sample size.

MJ in retirement sold more shows that Lebronze did in his career. 26 million people tuned in to watch the Bulls in the finals. 5 million tuned to watch the Lakers in their last championship. Goat rule #1 - you never tell people you are the goat, they tell you. If you break rule 1, it’s because you know you’re not the goat.
What they left off is MJ led the US Olympic team of college graduates victory (before his Rookie year) against an NBA all star team with Bird and Magic. Of course he led the team to win the Gold in 1984. LeBronze as a starter led the US Olympic team of NBA players to bronze.

@Ki Different Keep in mind, Lebron sitting games out, and ONLY playing when he feels a 100, helps all his per game stats, which MJ never did. Lebron’s averaged RIGHT NOW at his age and last few years would be a few percentage points less in just about every stat. So I can’t give him too much credit for longevity based on taking so many games off. And no, Lebron’s not selfish, even though he’s admitted MANY times he’s chasing Jordan, and even proclaimed HIMSELF as the “greatest of all time”. Don’t confuse lack of confidence in one’s jumpshot and play making abilities, with “not selfish”. Jordan wasn’t shy of the BIGGEST moments, even though he didn’t always come through, but was NOT afraid to take things into his hands and MAKE something happen

No one can deny Lebron is a great player. Longevity that has never been seen (steroids possibly, I hope not and also not proven). But switched so many teams just to literally chase a ring. Then still not winning as many, and thats ok, but to say he's the goat, no. Maybe the goat of longevity. I watched both and Jordan was like no other. SO clutch, made the players around him better and would carry teams to big wins especially when it counted. Lebron seems scared to take the last shot, seems to choke quiet a bit. Bulls games always seemed close but in the 4th they would step on the gas almost like clockwork. Some guy live for that moment and it has to be very nerve-racking but Jordan would almost always come thru like he had some straight up magic. The defense, the shot (2s and 3s), the offense, the clutch. Its just unmatched. He was playing chess while every one else was playing checkers. Dude was just the goat.
