Those capacitors had to be preloaded with energy to get it to operate without an outside power source and will only last as long as the energy build up in them. If the two 12v motors kept the charge on the capacitors enough to draw a load in an application more than a small motor or led light I’d say it could work but the capacitors would have to be fully energized. Otherwise nothing will happen when you switch it on.

Let's figure out how much energy could be stored in the capacitors and the maximum possible working voltage. Since the bank seems to be series-parallel, with 4 capacitors in series, the maximum working voltage is 4 times the single voltage or 10.8 volts. Hooking two capacitors in parallel doubles the capacitance of one capacitor, but hooking two in series cuts the capacitance in half. So each group of 4 has the same capacitance as a single capacitor - resulting in the bank having twice the single capacitor capacity - or 1000 F. Let's assume that the marking is accurate and it is actually 1000 farads.
W =0.5CV**2 joules W = 0.5 x 1000 x 10.8 x 10.8 joules = 500 x 116.64 joules = 58,320 joules
1 watt hour = 3600 joules so 58,320 joules is equal to 16.2 watt hours. That is the absolute maximum power that could be stored in the bank. That is not very much stored energy. If that scooter motor was consuming its maximum rated 250 watts (highly unlikely), then the bank could only last a maximum of 16.2/250 or 0.0648 hours or 3.888 minutes. But since it appeared to have little or no load (note that the speed did not seem to drop when the second switch was closed), the charge would last several times longer.

@@joegood2474 During a cut after the wiring was completed, he charged the capacitor bank. A capacitor is just a device that stores energy fed into it, just as a battery produces energy by chemical interactions.
All I see is three motors connected across a current supply, with the two small series motors in parallel with the larger motor. He obfuscated things by temporarily connecting that fourth motor across the capacitor bank. With all three motors wired up so they don't fight each other, there is very little load on the capacitor bank.
In other words, this is just another of his videos that are faked to gain views - which it has done admirably.

Ha! So much effort for so little reward. I supply electric motors etc.for a living and I had (yes, past tense, because most people have wised up now) so many enquiries regarding the appropriate motor and generator combinations to run things like 12 volt air conditioners from "free energy" perpetual motion setups like the one here. It made me realise how few people have even a basic understanding of the laws of physics - like babes in the woods.
Add an electrical load like a 12 volt lamp across the caps and you will see the thing stop almost immediately instead of 30 minutes of a gradual slow down to a halt as the friction and motor/gen/machine efficiency coefficients take effect. That huge bank of already charged up capacitors is the only source of "free" energy and simply prolongs the inevitable demise of motion. A battery instead of caps will considerable prolong the misery for the ultra gullible. It doesn't need to be rechargeable either because the flow of energy is all outgoing.

And I think absolute zero temperature cannot be reached, because the closer you get to it the less work can be performed, and maybe, the exact opposite is necessary, being that, more work is needed. I'm not positive about that though. Also, you could never eliminate all friction, which means there'd still be some heat dissipation. But don't take my word for it, I'm an amateur, making assumptions based on limited knowledge.
Were did the electricity in the capacitors come from? Eventually the capacitors will drain down and the 24 dc motor will not generate enough power to supply them. Capacitors voltage drops slowly and the dinamo will work for sometime, but when you load the circuit even a small load, it drops fast and the circuit stops working unless you recharge the Caps again from external source.

Let us just assume that this thing makes enough electric to keep itself running, keep the condensers charged and overcome frictional losses, does it make any excess electricity to power something other than itself? If "no" then it is useless.

@@quinn_jns So called, super capacitors are just energy storage devices that can supply current at a much higher rate than a conventional battery without overheating. They are what you will find in an automotive jumper pack.
If we take closer look, it is just two 775 motors connected in series, and one 24v motor, both circuits are connected to the capacitor bank. These supercaps have around 400mAh, according to my testing, which is enough to power the motors for video purposes. If you look closely, the 24v motor is active, and the sound is covered in music, so it is impossible to hear it slow down.
Other explanation is that there is LiPo battery hidden in the wood or batteries in the giant motor.

The Fact that when he turned on the switch, and it started up, tells me that it should not have turned on. So how did the so called Caps, get their first juice? Simple Observation shows ( in a hidden way ) That the caps, are actually Batteries disguised as caps. Lol. It's the only way to explain how he is able to use those same batteries to power that 4th motor. Right? when he raised up the board, there was no batteries in the board, or I presume there wasn't. Because where do we see wires going to the board? See my Point. I like your point though. When he put the 4th motor to the batteries, the big 24 volt motor did seem to slow down just a bit, as far as I can tell.

You have to have some initial power from a battery or something unless those capacitors had a charge, which I doubt by the way they were being handled. The idea and availability of materials used is good. But it takes a lot of modifications , trials & errors should be introduce to this video before it works as it was titled. I suggest that a; Lets mark the motors M1, M2 & M3. M1 is the largest Motor that is the 24 DC generator . The M2 nearest to the capacitors is the 12vdc driver of the M1. The M3 as the free generator and do not connect from the rest . b; replace the capacitors with a 12v rechargeable battery . c. insert regulator between M1 & recahreable batter-input voltage 24 output voltage 12v. d;Make adjustment to the sizes of pulleys is necessary.
Even if your idea had merit and the motors were all 100% efficient, M3 would only produce half as much power as M1 used. M2 would also only produce half the power used by M1, so could not keep up with recharging the system.

You can do the math yourself if you know how to do math. The larger motor runs on 20 volts and the small motors charge at 24 volts. The input is higher than the output.

You didn't show you charging up the Caps and if it did work it would over time run out of power do to friction and a true perpetual generator has to produce more energy than it uses so adding a out side load that doesn't produce or generate and energy and continue to run would be a starts.

You can buy an Atmos clock. It is expensive and made in Switzerland. It could actually run forever, but the bearings and things will wear out. Maybe after one or two thousand years. It is not really perpetual motion, it rewinds itself due to changes in the atmospheric temperature and pressure. They are really neat. You can also get free energy by living under the power lines and sucking off a little with a long wire pickup antenna. Better yet with a long extension cord.
This idea does work but the capacitor needs voltage to be able to supply voltage. Eventually it will run out of juice. A secondry supply such as a couple solar panels could remove the fact of running empty. Also if you showed the voltage produced by it using a multimeter then this is a good project.
If you have solar panels then you wouldn't need this fake shit, you'd dump the energy produced by the solar panels straight to a battery. This fake crap in-between a solar panel and a battery would lose you energy.

it is possible, but there is a missing component, some converter, inverter and regulator, once you put load on the generator, it will slow down the rpm thus it would make less voltage and the generator could stop.
