+mfaizsyahmi. That's a very good description. Honestly, I think that's a fundamental flaw with this as a remix, dragging down the music as a whole.
That's not too much of a criticism though- a Jazz remix of Magia without the flaw would probably be impossible.
Personally I feel it flows together quite well. Remember, this song is essentially Homura admitting her mistakes and the pain she's going through trying to save Madoka. If anything, it comes out stronger here but with the added twist of the faint ray of hope through the instruments.

What a fascinating take on this song, I had no idea how they'd make a jazz version of it but it turned out so great! I'm beyond grateful that you've uploaded so many jazzy anime songs, I never seem to be able to find them on my own! Let me know where you find them and I can't wait to see more from you :)

The vocals really mesh well with a Jazz influenced melody. I'm surprised Kalafina haven't tried this style.
Yuki Kaijura has done some Jazzy stuff in the past. It might've been before Kalafina.
