I love decorating for Thanksgiving. I have turkeys, acorns and pumpkins everywhere. Fall colors are beautiful. I don’t start decorating for Christmas until December. Unfortunately, winter started early here with cold temps and snow making it seem more like Christmas so several people told me they were skipping Thanksgiving decorations this year. Thanksgiving is being shortchanged.
Hi Shelly! I enjoyed your video. Your little Thanksgiving stitches look so cute! Looking forward to seeing them fully finished... whenever you get them done! :-) I love the finishes on your peg board wall. I have some of the charts for these and seeing them fully finished makes me want to start stitching them! Have a great stitchy week! Hopefully you'll stay warm way up there in Ohio!

I decorate for fall but usually have Christmas up by the time of Thanksgiving. The grandkids seem to like having the Christmas decorations up when they come for Thanksgiving. 😊
I have to work on some harvest patterns so I have more decorations for Thanksgiving. Right now I just leave up my Halloween stitching for Thanksgiving before trading it out for my Christmas stitching. I love that green linen!
I pull out my scarecrow & crow stand-ups for my foyer, my Turkey candle holders, salt & pepper shakers, and I made dinner napkins of turkeys, take out my stitched Thanksgiving pieces ... so I try to decorate as much as possible for Thanksgiving. Outside I will put a mini-flag to have more Fall colors around making it more festive. I have many of of those OH designers From your 1st yr of Retreats. That must have been fun. - - Curtis has also passed :(
Great video Shelly... I do not decorate for thanksgiving.
