My daughter loves sloths! I need to possibly stitch that for her. I actually liked quite a few of the new charts! Have a fun time with your favorite 1 year old💕
We have our family over for the 4th. All 14 of us enjoy great company lots and lots of food, grandchildren playing in the pool, croquet, and of course icecream sundaes and fireworks!!!
My daughter and I go to a carnival and firework display every year. It's a family tradition starting when my daughter was about 5 years old, with my mother and husband. My mother passed in 1998 and my husband of 40 years, passed in 2020 on our daughters birthday, but we have soldiered on.
Love your vintage stitches and the Shelly Bells patterns. Very nice. Love patriotic designs! For July 4th we always have an extended family picnic with lots of food, family and fun.

I enjoyed the patriotic finishes as well as seeing your WIP’s. My husband’s sister has everyone over to her house for a family picnic. We grill hot dogs and burgers with lots of sides. A staple is my MIL’s delicious potato salad, and of course watermelon! Stow also has a big parade but now that my in-laws are in their mid 90’s we don’t usually go. Have a safe flight to Denver, and have a wonderful time playing with your little great niece! Happy 4th!🎆🇺🇸
We used to take the kids camping at the beach along the Illinois river, and then go watch the fireworks which were let off over the river! It all depends on whether we get our boat out these days because we would vote all of our belongings down the river to our campsite. This year, we will probably just go to one of the kids houses for a cookout! We do have a family reunion in Michigan the week after the fourth!

You make me want to stitch patriotic. Well, I suppose technically I am: Lady of the Flag. But there are so many fun patriotic charts out there. We spend the 4th of July in the park with our son’s family. It’s real home town stuff. So fun.

We use to gather with family on the 4th but since my husband passed several years ago I mainly stay home and off the highway. The roadways are so busy because I don't live too far from the beaches in NW Fl. Traffic is terrible. I pick out a new chart and stitch. The holiday kicks off my Christmas stitching in July. Thank you for sharing tonight. It's always good to watch you. We don't celebrate July 4th, as we are Canadians......but for our celebration, July 1st, we do celebrate. This year we will be celebrating our Grand daughters 3rd birthday along with her sister and we'll be having fireworks too!! I do wish you a wonderful day celebrating July 4th!
Our town has a parade on the 4th. The rest of the month will be spent with family coming in and out. My sister will be bringing my mom home and be here for three weeks. So lots of stitching ahead.
I love the patriotic pillow, where the speckles are the fabric... that is so pretty!!! I also love your overdyed version of the flag... you did a great job on color selection for it. My boss has been throwing a 3rd of July party on his ranch every year, he said that everybody always has plans on the 4th! Some stay in their RV's or tents on the property by the pond and he makes a cowboy breakfast for all that stayed the night!

I just purchased the Sweet Wing Studio flag chart - so cute. Not sure when I will start it but it’s one of those charts I had to have ◡̈. Two of our kids live in Denver and we are just 5 hours away on the other side of the mountains. I’ll be thinking of you since you will be so close. Thank you for another great floss tube! Happy 4th!
We go to a really fun huge party in the country. But I leave after dinner as our dogs are afraid of fireworks and I do not want them to be home alone 🇺🇸🐾
We have a Big Birthday Party ....everyone in my Family was born in July so on the 4th we all get together....like 167 of us at my Uncle Farm 2,000 please acres and have a great time....he has 12 out builds ....I come early and paint, mow, put cots out...paints swings....put all the Rope Swings up....and make sure all the docks are in good shape.....amazing times...thanks for sharing and please take care
Had plans but now we'll just have to see. My husband had an accident cleaning up storm damage so he has a compression fracture of a vertebra so there's intense pain. But, he's doing well (pain meds help too). So, we'll see.
What I do on the 4th of July is, crawl in bed with my two little Yorkie's, turn on fans to drown out all the fireworks going off in our neighborhood and around. They get so very scared. They have med from the vet but it only helps a little. Before the dogs, I would hang out with family, kids grandkids.
I have one dog that is triggered by loud noises, and we’ve been dealing with random fireworks over the past week. He’s afraid to go outside and it just makes me angry. What happened to the idea of noiseless fireworks? Sigh…
@@juststitchinginc9777 it's been a rough several days. I've got a soft sided cat carrier that I had to put my little dog in. I put it next to me on the loveseat with a blanket over it. My other dog crawled up on my lap, some thing she never does. I played puppy UA-cam music loud from my phone & flosstube on my tablet, just so I could hear. The vet had given me some meds to help and it didn't do much. Glad the fireworks seem to be over.

I like patriotic stitching. You can show them.all the time. I decorate my house in.red whitte and blue.

We typically have a low key 4th because of the dogs and the heat. But we always do have hot dogs for a mini celebration. Have fun in Denver!

I usually go to the Kamm’s Corner Parade in the morning in CLE & then too a cookout at a friends house.
