    Most SAE 30R7 PCV hoses are vacuum rated at 24 in/hg for inner diameters less than 1/2 inch. But for inner diameters of 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch the vacuum rating is lowered to 10 in/hg.

    My 2017 2.7l doesnt catch much oil.
    Im going back to stock and now having to replace the pcv valve because the vacuum hoses i keep buying keep collapsing.
    The trouble isnt worth it. Id rather pay someone or do a fuel induction service myself every so often.

    Thanks for the video. Mine also collapsed on my F150. I’m going to swap out my hose with the same. How has it been holding up for you?

      Hey Tony, can't tell you at the moment. My Jeep's been at the shop for awhile due to a collision. I'll update you once I get it back.

    Is catch can sucking air from engine?

    • @W1LDCH1LD1
      @W1LDCH1LD1  10 місяців тому +1

      Its filtering the oil in and sucking the air back into the engine to burn.

    How is the hose holding up? My hose is collapsing on itself too. Is there danger to that ?

    • @W1LDCH1LD1
      @W1LDCH1LD1  5 місяців тому +1

      My current hose hasn't collapsed since replacing it. You might want to swap back to the original to prevent any issues.

      @@W1LDCH1LD1 Thank you. That’s what I did. I think it was because I used 5/8” fuel line and not 3/8 or 1/2 like you
