I like yours the best! What year jeep? Do you have these plans?
Hey Tyler, I have a 2013 Jeep Wrangler. Check out @CheaperJeeperTV , I borrowed the plans from him. I believe Dino has a website that you can download the plans.
I love what you have going, but this video coulde be 20 minutes shorter.......too much rambling.........
Noted for next time. Thanks for visiting.
what site is that? it looks perfect
Awenda Provincial Park.
My heat is not working and it is doing the blinking would I have the same issue or is it something else
Might be your heater core.
Killarney park doesn't close ????
I believe its open all year around. www.ontarioparks.ca/park/killarney
I’m looking at the Front Runner slim roof rack also. I know you have the 1/2 rack which still allows to remove the freedom tops but do you completely loose the ability to remove the hardtop during the summer?
Hi there, technically, you don't lose the ability but it's a lot of unbolting as it secures to the rear role cage/frame.
@@W1LDCH1LD1thank you for your quick reply. Are you still running the Frontrunner and would you suggest it / change anything?
@@RoadRashOffRoad I'm still running it but if you want to be able to remove the hardtop with ease, I would suggest the roof rack from Metal cloak. metalcloak.com/jeep-jk-wrangler-suspension-fenders-bumpers-skid-plates.html#subCategory9
Wow I hope you can complain and write a review to warn others.
How is the hose holding up? My hose is collapsing on itself too. Is there danger to that ?
My current hose hasn't collapsed since replacing it. You might want to swap back to the original to prevent any issues.
@@W1LDCH1LD1 Thank you. That’s what I did. I think it was because I used 5/8” fuel line and not 3/8 or 1/2 like you
@@gsdls That's good to hear! and thanks for visiting.
ima have to do the same to my ss camaro (back to the original hose)
this is not an install video at all
I'm sorry it didn't meet your needs, I'll do better next time.
Thanks. Ordered. Which head unit is that? Very nice!
It's by Joying, but discontinued. You can find similar ones on Amazon.
I went with the Dasaita a few years ago, been perfect!
Most SAE 30R7 PCV hoses are vacuum rated at 24 in/hg for inner diameters less than 1/2 inch. But for inner diameters of 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch the vacuum rating is lowered to 10 in/hg.
That's why I drive a 1992 Landcruiser.
junk
I just replaced mine, it blinked about 10 times (i did not set the knobs like you did, didn’t know that I had to do that???) mine is not working. Now what?
Sorry for the reply. When you say its not working, can you elaborate a bit more? No heat, no ac? or just not remembering the vent locations?
Good work boy!
You are the best
You do pretty good woodwork. I like the rear of your Jeep. One criticism you move your camera way too much I was getting sick
You could drill a few holes in your wood to decrease the weight of the wood. Just random hoes
Appreciate your criticism, will try and move less.
Is catch can sucking air from engine?
Its filtering the oil in and sucking the air back into the engine to burn.
Only question would be does it get in the way of the sun visor
It does unfortunately.
nice blower
Nice video ! Prepping for my trip there soon, that kid is a excellent foodie describing like Mark Wiens LOL love it !!
Thanks for stopping by. Hope you have a fantastic trip and I'll pass on that wonderful comment to that kid. Cheers!
Hang in there Hong! What a pain in the ass.
Thanks Dave. I'm hanging for sure, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. Again, thanks for your kind words and support.
My 2017 2.7l doesnt catch much oil. Im going back to stock and now having to replace the pcv valve because the vacuum hoses i keep buying keep collapsing. The trouble isnt worth it. Id rather pay someone or do a fuel induction service myself every so often.
How is this holding up, almost 2 years later?
It hasn't given me any troubles yet. A few random reboots here and there.
Thanks for the video. Mine also collapsed on my F150. I’m going to swap out my hose with the same. How has it been holding up for you?
Hey Tony, can't tell you at the moment. My Jeep's been at the shop for awhile due to a collision. I'll update you once I get it back.
@@W1LDCH1LD1 Sorry you hear about your Jeep. I hope everyone is ok
@@Tony-hr4bl Everything's ok, just been waiting on parts due to shortage :(
Hey tony my 2022 f150 5.0 is doing the same thing as well. Have you fixed it yet by any chance or have a solution? Thanks have a good one
@@DiegoGarcia-sp2ln I went with Nylon Stainless Steel Braided CPE Black Fuel Line. This fixed my problem and also looks great
Great job 👍 Have you done any more work on your storage system?
Thanks! I haven't unfortunately.
Thanks for posting this man! I watched another video but they didn’t have the skid plate on like you and I have. Good to know I don’t have to take that off. Excellent work!
hows it doing?
The 3 sizes aren’t small medium and large. I believe they’re large larger and largest
great video!!! glad you like them!
Yooo! What a sweet setup. Definitely taking a few things I saw here to use for a future build in my own Jeep. Safe travels my friend.
Thanks! All the best to your future Jeep build.
Good vid. Where did you buy the braided hose? Manufacturer and diameter?
a.co/d/7oy6yZr (5/8)
Hey man, great build there. How is the aluminium frame holding up? Any creaks/movements since your build that require frequent adjustments? Also, how did you mount your drawer slides onto the aluminium frame? Couldn’t see that bit from you previous video. Keep up the good work!
Hey there, the top aluminum frame (Teraflex) is holding up. I do get creaks when I go off a big bump. I have the rails mounted to aluminum L channel bolted to the existing brackets that came with the Teraflex shelf. Those brackets are then screwed into the Jeep frame where the soft top would normally go.
@@W1LDCH1LD1 thank you, good to know that as I was a little worried about constant adjustments. If it’s just over big bumps I think I can live with that.
Beautiful upload friend, scenery is simply amazing here! Beautiful presentation 🔥🔥
Thank you for visiting.
Nice!
Thanks!
Wow, amazing work my friend! Simply amazing! 😮😮
Thanks for the visit
Looks nice. How much?
Too much lol.
Nice set up Hong. Great for remote areas. A roof top tent is heavy and I don't think it would slow a bear down!
Very true! But it looks so cool :)
Very cool solo on the side.... very complete camping equipment and cooking set... The location is very good.....with a forest environment that looks very cool...the green trees are very lush...
Thank you for visiting.
Can you share a link for the wok/skottle you used? Thanks
Here you go. www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004241174741.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.0.0.28401802c4QBvK
Like Midland FRS/GMRS radios themselves, your video left much to be desired. Rather than bouncing in and out of the radio, something from farther back or a different angle to give reference to mounting location, etc, would have made for a much better video.
Thx for the advice, I'll will remember for next time!
So much work to film and put this video together! Thanks for sharing your experience in the outdoors. Hope you did some soul searching as well hehe.
It's a lot of work but "fun" sometimes. No time for soul searching lol. Gotta figure out the next angle :)
Looks good
It was lol
Any link for your slides, please?😊
