Fully agree. Saw them in Pasadena, CA. 1982 I think. I used to tell anyone who would listen to how great they were. The best thing to come out of that part of the world, including Australia IMO. Great band! The US was always behind the UK and the rest of the world relating to newer sounds at the time.
Neil addressed his missing tooth in a fairly recent interview with his son Liam. One of his "fangs" grew up instead of down and he had to have surgery done when he was very young to remove the tooth. His brother, Tim, gave him the nickname of Fang because of it. Neil's son, Liam, had the same condition. That interview with Neil and Liam is floating around UA-cam somewhere.
Tim Finn was incredibly culturally aware for the time.
Thanks for posting. Such Bright Men
my fav Saturday morn show way back when.
I was a lucky winner on Donny's prize wheel once.
Donny's interviews are usually excellent - intelligent questions, great rapport.
yes he was a big Enz fan, always very supportive.
This is one band that should have broken big time in the US.

I noticed in some Enz footage of Neil, he seems to be missing a tooth on the right side of his mouth. I wonder how that happened.
