What to do with the gap afterwards? Especially if you removed your wisdom teeth already? Do people use Invisalign to close the gap or something?
Can you do the MSDO after MSE? I can’t do both simultaneously die to financial constrictions…

It is a regular procedure among airway focused orthodontists and there's considerably literature in academia being published on it as we speak.
@@tamerofhorses2200 how many practitioners are out there outside of Dr. Yousefian? If you even google the procedure most of the results come back to this UA-cam channel. This is not a realistic approach for 99.99%

@@tomasb3191 Were you talking about MSDO or MSE? If the former than I can perhaps see some credibility to your assertions, but MSE has become rather popular now thanks to a number of practicioners around the world doing it.
@@tamerofhorses2200 MSDO, but even MSE for the propuse of moving everything forward to accommodate wisdom teeth is not common at all.
I NEED HELP. My orthopedic doctor told me I have a receded upper jaw and that's why I have an underbite. His solution was, of course, braces. After I put them on I came across all of this mewing and MSE stuff. I also have wisdom teeth that they said will have to be pulled later. I'm wondering if an MSE will help fix that receded upper jaw because I have heard that it only works in a side to side direction, not necessarily forward. I am really hoping you know of a way to bring that upper jaw forward to make room for the wisdom teeth to grow in. PLEASE HELP. I need to know if forward upper jaw growth is possible.

Very interesting! What's the age range for these treatments? Is it still effective for those in their early 30s who still have their wisdom teeth?
Yes. You can do this at pretty much any age. In the past, this was limited to kids, but now, with surgical assist (not a big procedure) to weaken the bone, there's no age limit anymore.

I think Dr Audrey Yoon in LA might be able to but maybe only for MSE/MARPE and not lower jaw but check her out
I am 17 and my dentist says I should have my wisdom teeth removed. What would happen if I didn't? They are all upright and impacted. Still some space. My front teeth are also crowded so MSE/MSDO would probably help but I don't trust it out of fear of it failing.

I've seen people with crowded teeth and didn't get their wisdom teeth removed,their teeth were pretty messed up but with their mouth closed their face didn't look too bad. I wish I had my wisdom teeth back oh well
Save you wisdom teeth at all cost
however, with the lower jaw, your wisdom teeth could be in the way of the incision down through the jaw. sometimes they take out the wisdom teeth in order to cut into the jaw and advance it forward.

@@dariusjohnson5648 You mean MSDO? No. I got MSE installed about a month ago, at my 29th turn today. It's coming pretty well. About 3.5-4mm of expansion down and about -hopefully- 6mm more to go. My cheekbones have become more pronounced (to the effect that my face looks "leaner" so to say).
Hi, I got my wisdom teeth removed when I was 13, is there a way to replace them with implants and stuff, I’m 17 right now and I regret having them taken out since I’m pretty sure my jaws had enough space but the dentist told me it would cause problems in the future.

It's worth it if you have narrow palate

This so much effort for something so much more less invasive to fix. Just get them removed. You will be ok🤦🏼♂️
