If Leopold was smart enough to say the glasses were his and he lost them but didn't know where but often went to Wolf Lake keep it simple.

"Better Call Saul" brought me here. Great lesson in superiority complex. Interesting how some people in this world really don't believe their s#!+ stinks! 😈

Someone else mentioned Better Call Saul as well! Yes far too many people have that attitude today unfortunately. We are ruled by sociopaths.

Ye, but they are superior. If you have an IQ over 160 you literally have cognitive abilities that cannot be just taught.
160 is light years ahead of say 135.

The mere fact that a person can deliberately take the life of another and then later be freed into society clearly shows what is wrong with the judicial system. One person had been robbed of his life. The murderer is walking free.
    How can that be right??

Good succinct overview of this notorious case that inspired the Hitchcock classic "Rope". The arrogance and sense of superiority and entitlement of these two teenagers runs through the upper classes of all nations.

Thanks I am glad you enjoyed it. Always good to mention "Rope" and I couldn't agree more about the arrogance of elites.

these dudes may have been book smart but had no common sense, started calling the parents for ransom? that's sadistic! and they apparently didnt hide the body too well! reminds me of the Idaho student slayings suspect! I bet he had some searches on these guys!

Arrogance is never a good thing, and people who think they are smarter than everyone else usually come a cropper in the end.

Some sources suggest their parents instilled in them the entitled belief that the normal rules of morality did not apply to them being so special. Can anyone confirm this?

As well as inspiration for ROPE a more direct dramatisation is the movie
    Compulsion 1959 Starring Orson Welles.

I've lived in Chicago my whole life an never heard of this case an I thought I've seen or read about most of the bigger murders an I've been a huge crime fan for well over 20 years, but if these guys were as smart as they thought I think they should of chose a homeless person for their victim would of drew less attention than picking a child, I don't condone murder by any means especially when children are involved just if I was going to do what they did an planned it out as much as they did I would choose someone nobody is going to notice but I guess they wanted the attention I haven't watched this video all the way but from the first few minutes of what I heard it's just my opinion.

@@HistoryRemembered ya that surprised me to but you always hear about H.H. Holmes, John Wayne Gacey, Richard Speck, when it comes to the most well known killers here. an i just looked up a couple other serial killer that are more recent Nicolas sheley was spree killer from 2014 an Larry Bright 03-04 killing 8 women might be worth checking out also some other good older ones are the Chicago ripper crew an Andre Crawford convicted of killing 11 women 93-98 might be good for a episode or just to read about for yourself. but I'm subbing your channel an going to binge your videos
