Scentmas Day 4 = Dior J'Adore EDP Eau de Parfum
J’dore by Dior has been one of my fav fragrance over the years and luckily unlike other perfumes that I have loved over the years , this one unlikely will be discontinued . When I first discovered j’adore , I was in high school, this rich girl in our grade only wore this perfume , she was type of girl that has class, very mature for her age( we were 16,17 back then) you could tell she was the type of girl that one day will be a senator’s wife. She pulled off that scent so well even at young age. I was so in love with that perfume , but back then , I knew my personality didn’t match with this scent , in my personal option, scent should match your personality and lifestyle. I was this clumsy ordinary person that I just didn’t think classic fragrance like j’dore would be appropriate for me. Anyway , long story short, years later I got this fragrance from my partner as my Xmas gift and whenever I wore it, people around me would tell me I smell good and no joke , when I went to bank , restaurants , I got better treatment when wearing this scent , I guess I’m slowly becoming elegant and slowly pulling off this scent from Dior .
Dior J’adore is one of my favourite fragrance of all. When I first sprayed it on the airport, I knew I had to have them! On me this is a pure gold, elegance and class, but my skin does it sometimes with florals;) kisses girl
J'adore is one of those fragrances that smells great...on other people. I have a co-worker who wears it from time to time and it suits her to a T. She's a sharp-dressed, sophisticated, self-confident Leo woman and when she enters the room you can't help but stare in admiration for the bold way she carries herself. None of those things are me, however, and try as I have, J'adore is not for me, either. It smells like straight-up gold metal on my skin. Just like I took a bar of gold and melted it onto my skin LOL. So sharp, metallic and cold on me, but I do love the bottle and the idea of it. Unfortunately, I complimented my co-worker a bit too much on it and she gifted me with a huge full-size bottle of it (eek!).

I'm a Leo and I promise I'm not trying to argue w you. Lol but I blind bought this bc my sister in law had it. My brother in law bought it for her. Amywho my husband was at his brothers house and so they smelling all of them and he was just enamored by it so yep I blind bought it. Needless to say I got a splitting head ache and felt nausea. It smells great on others. Not me. And even if it did smell good Idc bc it made me sick. I'm currently trying to sell it. Lol. So your not alone.

I just got a sample. I didn't expect to love it but its so warm sweet and creamy on my skin. I want a bottle. I'm in my 30s I don't find it too mature. It's very sensual.

I think this smells really good! Fruity, but not cheap smelling at all! Very classy and feminine. It’s so nice, I’ve been wanting it since I first sprayed it in the store! Like the name says - J’adore! Perfect for every day! It’s not too strong and “in your face” kind of fragrance, that’s why I think it’s perfect for every day. I’m using Ari by Ariana Grande right now and I love that one! But I’m 27, so I think I slowly need a more feminine scent. Ari is amazing though! Super sweet and delicious, but the sweetness doesn’t make you sick - it’s such a nice scent.
This is such a classic, feminine fragrance, I would definitely get a bottle but unfortunately it doesn't last 😕 Great review!

I used to dislike J'Adore, but came around to it this year. It does not strike me as your sort of scent. Not because it is too classy (really, Arlene?!?), but more the actual notes are not what your tastes suggest.
My tastes seem to be all over the place nowadays lol :D

It’s funny, I get completely different imagery. Maybe because I wore it for a few years, a long time ago, I got so sick of it, I gave it away. Now it smells kind of old lady-ish to me. Even soapy, but not in the Chanel kind of way. Mature? -yes! Professional? Not sure. Def not for me. It’s not even classy, I’m thinking stuffy, and the florals smell way too generic to me now that I have been dipping my toes into the world of niche perfumery...
and that charlize campaign is so old i’m so sick of it

J'adore is a big nothing non event to me. I don't warm to anything about it - the actual scent, the boring bottle and especially the ridiculous Charlize Theron ads with her walking weird and then saying J'adore in that weird low pitched drawn out way. Its a joke and so fake. Can't take it seriously, so funny !!!!
Lol it really does seem it's a love or hate kinda perfume :D
