The "This is Your Life" locket is from the 1950's. There was a very popular TV show of the same name that ran 1952-1961.
I know this comment is about a prior video but I just wanted to thank you two for bringing up the blow-molded site!! It is so much fun to go through all the different kinds of blow molds throughout the decades! I so much enjoy watching the two of you! It’s like a warm hug every time! 🤗😇

I love all the vintage Christmas. I, too, have just one spinner ornament. It was my grandma's, so before she passed, she made sure that I got it. Mine is orange. It was always my favorite ornament growing up. I don't know why she only had one.

I have been enjoying your videos. I love your excitement when you find the fun! I do primarily jewelry videos and sales with thrifted lots. I saw someone already commented about how helpful a magnet can be with precious metal evaluation. I wear a magnetic wrap bracelet when I go out so I can check things discreetly. You might want to invest in a jewelers loupe and a metal test kit. They aren’t very expensive and can help you not waste time taking things in to be tested that are only costume pieces. I have found many pieces that were gold and silver but not marked as well.

That red McDonalds monster is from Hercules. They came with a character from the movie inside them. We have them all because it’s my son’s favorite and they don’t make Hercules toys anymore.

I’ve been meaning to reach out to you for years. I live in Knoxville, TN. Every September, a local thrift chain, KARM, opens the KARM Christmas Store! The last few years it’s been in an old grocery store and it is HUGE and full of gems. They have an entire section dedicated to vintage Christmas (Shiny Brites, blow molds, ceramics, etc.) and they mark those things up. But if you look hard enough, you can always find some great stuff. I just went for the first time this season and found a Holt Howard Santa mug (my first ever) sitting in a random shelf for only $6.99. They obviously didn’t know what it was (no tag), because right next to it was a much less desirable Santa mug from the 80s priced at $20.
I’ve been watching your channel since you first got started on UA-cam. In fact, you inspired me to start collecting vintage Christmas, and now I can’t be stopped. Thanks for all you do to make fun and engaging content.

Did you try to wind up the art deco watch? You probably need to pull out the turning knob to reset it and push it in to wind it up.
If it still doesn't work you should try to find a watch maker to repair it because that's very beautiful.

I am sooo jealous... I have been looking for the 60's plastic spinner ornaments for a few years now. I just cannot seem to find them in the wild. I also suggest that if the watches do not have any real value to sell secondhand that you harvest the diamonds out of them. I could see that several have little diamonds on the front face by the 12 number. I always collect those out and save them because someday I may either sell them in quantity or use them myself in something. I do have a diamond tested to check to make sure they are diamonds also. I use the other parts in my art. Most do not have any value except what you can scrounge out of them.

If you pull the backs of the old watches, they will possibly give you more info like a serial number or metal type. I had one with a gold filled band, but the actual watch was gold.

WOW! What a digger sale! Loads of bins, but hard to dig. You did a good job though. I don't know about you but I sometimes come across the cutest children's holiday art and projects from school. They sometimes inspire ideas for art today. loved the ceramic angels you plan to repair, Halloween store bag, Santa tree clips.

If the mark on the watch is b&co it could stand for
Baume & Co. I believe the company was started in the mid 1800s and were a Swiss or Swedish watch manufacturer based in London. I’m not 100% sure but looking into Baume & Co might be a good place to start in trying to identify it. Years ago I worked the counter at a jewelry shop that specialized in repairs and restoration and I have a vague memory regarding that co. Hope this helps. 😊
Oh my gosh!!. I've been collecting holiday stuff for more than 50 years and the pieces I saw you leave behind made me squeak. I so wish I could have reached into the screen and pulled them out for you. 😂 The other thing I collect is jewelry. As a rule of thumb, serial numbers on the backs of quartz watches are usually a good sign of a quality maker. I myself prefer the analogue wrist watches like your Bulova. Since it is analogue, it may just take a good interior cleaning to get it running again and since this is a good maker, it may be worth finding someone able to clean it for you. Hopefully it hasn't been over wound because you would then need to find a watch repair guy that still works on these older pieces. Seiko is also a good brand and yes, you did pronounce it correctly. The last watch, (BNCO) although pretty, is not a company I've come across and is most likely not of much worth. Having a watch be gold filled in that era really wasn't anything that indicated quality. It was like having something plated today. I would hang onto that little baby pierced earring. It's hard to tell through a screen but parents that pierced their little ones ears quite often did it with 10K gold. Not only was it more likely not to get infected but it was a piece of jewelry that, unlike bracelets and necklaces, would probably not get lost quickly so they would spend the money for better quality. Nice haul. Had fun watching your video.

WOW again that last watch jewel is real saphire. My grandma had a similar one dated from 1927. Hey, save the tiny clogs for me! Maybe we can swap them for more brooches?

When testing jewelry, use a magnet first. Fine metals are not magnetic.

Both Seiko and Citizen watches were very good quality and some could be on the pricey side.
It can be difficult and expensive to repair the very old watches. I have paid more to have one repaired than I paid for the watch. Pulsar I believe was one of the first battery powered watches. Seiko is from Japan. Benrus and Bulova were solid brands popularly priced.
On the jewellery, both gold and silver are non magnetic and don’t react to magnets. Just use any magnets. Try and get the watches serviced etc. it could be dust etc

I think the last vintage watch you found may be Cartier… the blue jewel gave me a clue.
I would take any of the jewelry you want to check the metal content on to your local paen shop. You don't have to sell it to them and they will check if it is gold for free. Sadly all my storage unit jewelry i have found and checked has only been gold plated and not worth them buying.

LOVE the last 2 watches! They should be taken to a jeweler or specialist. The insides probably need cleaned. Would be interesting to see if they could be brought back to life.
