That is the same exact error code I am getting and tomorrow my parts arrive , I am going to replace the door switch because everything I have read and seen on YT says that is is the door switch.
So what do you do when not only did the switch burn out but the connection to the switch and the wires burned out? Is there a way to replace that piece?
Scenario: Samsung dryer showing Dc code, but code only appears when you start the cycle (cycle fails to start and display is normal with countdown clock) but the Dc code only appears when the door is opened and then closed. Code remains after the door is re-closed.
@@christinaneedles3658 Weird since you actually replaced the switch...🤔 only thing I can think of is mabe unplug the dryer for 10 mins to possibly clear the code, mabe bad connector or possibly further up at the board level. I’m personally disappointed in the quality of these samsung washers and dryers...smh
Thank you. I never would have figured out how to get the switch in without this.

Thank you. Saved me time and money. ✌️

What if the light switch has a locking clip? What should I do?
would this be used for error code "de" or is that the latch that needs to be replaced?

@@TestTubeBabySpy I agree they seem to be riddled with constant problems
starts by its self when door is closed
+Vickey Stone The start switch has likely shorted closed.
Did the switch replacement work for the continuously running when closed?
