Wow, that’s one huge of a game components. Base and expansions in one humongous box. Thanks for the preview, and looking forward to the playthrough.
Yeah lots of stuff in this one. Have you played Anachrony?
@@BeforeYouPlay no I haven't yet. So many games that came around but Anachrony is the one I saw promising experience and most especially it was designed by David Turczi! I love what he did with the solo mode of Kanban EV and Weather Machine, both of which I have. ❤
OK, Monique must have the most organized sock drawer. I thought she might swat Naveen's hand for daring to place a faction tray in the wrong direction. 😂
This is one of the most satisfying things I’ve ever seen 😂
Haha, it’s nice to see each level sit perfectly flat!
@@BeforeYouPlay I could tell how excited both of you get by it too. 😂😂
I still can’t understand how David Turczi designs such amazing solo modes when he professes to not like playing them 🤯😅 - I don’t own Anachrony but I’m really enjoying Imperium right now.
Haha yeah that’s so strange!
The solo is good. I've won it with any of the expansions, but it's fun anyway.
Woo-hoo! I can't wait for the play throughs!
Us too!
Anachrony is practically number 1 in my collection. I have a huge sentimental attachment to it because it was one of the first big, fairly heavy games, and we still love it to this day, having everything that's been released for it!
We haven't tried the Future Imperfect module yet, but there will be time for that too. My wife really enjoys the Pioneers of New Earth module, while I, on the other hand, love playing with the Fractures of Time expansion. Apart from two-player games (we haven't tried it with a larger group), I have many solo plays under my belt - both with the old and new Chronobot as well as with the Chronossus. And I can only repeat - I adore this game! Since getting to know Anachrony, I've become a huge fan of David Turczi - his solo variants are brilliant! They might not be the simplest to handle, but I don't mind that, because once you get to know and understand them, the gameplay becomes increasingly smooth and provides loads of enjoyment.
I'm really looking forward to your playthroughs of Anachrony, which I'll watch with great pleasure. Warm regards!
The hypersync future action module in future imperfect is my favourite module in the game other than fractures of time, so I definitely recommend you try that part when you can.
@@JeFreeze Thank you for the recommendation! I will definitely do that!
Oh boy my OCD is so happy after watching this :D ... don't own the game, but I'm reaaaally digging the theme!
I love this game
Thanks for the trip down memory lane. I spent 3 hours reboxing my KS1 and KS2 Anachrony goodies... before opening the bundle of manuals that included the packing guide. I forgot it was included. 😂
Such a fantastic game! Top 3 of all time, alongside Mindclash stablemate, Trickerion. And still the best solo AI system ever - Chronobot v1.0 or v2.0, or Chronossus!
My top 1 board game of all time! Can't wait for your playthrough
Can't wait for these playthroughs!
I just pulled Anachrony off the shelf to finally play it! Now I want the big box… 😂
This was a couple hour project for me with my coffee on a Saturday morning. ( including sleeving ) I think they did a great job once you understand all the components and expansions and how they are all separated. Also Fractures added the new solo mode. Thankfully they did a great job with the instruction booklet included. Modules I like to include are the Adventures and the Alternate time line tiles. (back side )
Yeah it was very confusing when we first set up the box a few years back. We had only played the base game once before sorting it all. Once you’re set, you’re set, which is fantastic!
I opted not to use the tray guide exactly as written, because the components for some of the expansions were not always grouped together. I put the stuff I don't use as much into the bottom layer.
Also, the storybook that should be in the infinity box, does go into the backstory! It's really great. It even talks about the backstory of each leader of each faction. I require my players to read the section for their factions. It really sets the tone for the setting of the game.
Also, after playing with fractures of time, I don't think I can play without it. It makes the game even better! The faction that comes with it is my favorite faction to play. I think it's good to play one game without it, to get acquainted with the base mechanisms. I haven't played with the modules yet, maybe next time! Looking forward to hearing what you think!
You guys did Naveen dirty with that thumbnail image
Naveen here - I chose the thumbnail lol. I wanted to look confused haha
Waw! This is a very impressive box XD. Can't wait to watch your playthroughs. I really enjoy your content, your vibes are very refreshing. Don't know the game at all but with all those components I am very curious to see how it plays.
Thank you so much!!
I have the Infinity box to. I painted all miniatures and it is my favorite worker placement game.
But a lot of work to organize and sleeve all the components.😅
Most of the time i play solo and my favorite way to play is basegame with pioneers of the new earth or basegame with fraktures of time, including the different anomalies
You guys have guts!
💪🏽
I've been looking forward to this ever since you did trickerion.
Other than fractures of time, my favourite among the expansion modules are hypersync future actions from the future imperfect box and pioneers of the new earth in the classic expansion box. So I hope to see one or both of them get played.
Looking forward to the playthrough. It's a bummer that you can't really get the big box as I have all the content and would love to store it all in one box.
Been a lurker of this game for many years but having everything in one box may be time to pull the trigger? Thanks as always for the video you both do 😊
Not sure the current availability status, we’ve had this copy for a few years.
Oooooh will we see you play this soon? :-D :-D
I really need to get this one played, but I’m holding out till I pick up the Exosuit minis.
Great video, that's very good organize. By the way have you consider make a playthrough video of game San Juan? It will be very good see it, there is no too many those video out there
I only really play it solo, which limited the combinations of modules you can use. I like Fractions of Time, but don't always use it because it is heavier. Aside from that I like the Hypersync and the Pioneers of New Earth modules the most.
I grabbed Anachrony during the second run, got the Infinity box with it all - they did include an art/lore book with it that has a LOT of info. Histories, how the factions formed and everything. It was very interesting the amount of world building they put into this game. It was great. This is one game that really shines with the extra bits, the metal cubes, exosuits and resin bits all enhance things a lot
I own all expansions in separate boxes just now. Is it possible for you to do several playthroughs every time with another expansion? Or maybe one super duper playthrough with everything turned on even bot as a third player? Kindly kindly please 🤩😘
yeah just dont film base game only ... include fractures of time for sure and something els plz ... i played only base and as someone who his top ten is really similar to u guys ... i was dissapointed in the game no matter how many times i played it and i dont like to sell anachrony because it was such a most anticipated game for me and my wife ... so we are looking for any reasons to keep it in collection :) u might be anachrony saviour :)))
