- No agris used, no coin used. No despair start, few seconds (15s) wasted on changing crystals 7min in.
If there's few things I'd improve in this hour is definitely waiting 5min in marni before starting the grind to abuse despair (or just doing a 65min grind). Ok, maybe not, that's just cheesing.
Using simple cron meal instead of exquisite. Optimising combos a bit more. It should be possible to skip SHIFTQ with my gear on purple and blue with BSR active. Experimenting a bit with faster combo would also help, what I have in mind is SF F SLMB SHIFTRMB SHIFTLMB WQ Q/SHIFTQ F WF, whether that would work, I have no idea at this point.
I could probably improve the way I deal with despair mobs, that's one thing that I haven't figured out just yet. Could probably improve pathing after butcher kills, at this point I'm too scared of getting oneshot from the purple mob though, so unless it's close to the butcher I'm wasting time with inefficient pathing.
GUIDE:
I don't think it's neccessary since everyone who plays BDO should know this spot (it's #1 in popularity) but here we go.
You have 3 types of mobs, red-blue-purple. After killing one you're supposed to kill another one in that order. If you attack a different one they'll get buffed and you can die. There's a chance of spawning a butcher, after killing it you have a 60s buff that allows you to oneshot all the mobs. At one point there was a strategy of pulling a blue mob to other mobs to abuse the 60s duration of the buff, nowadays it doesn't seem to matter that much since kill time is around 3s anyway.
After killing a mob, all mobs respawn, for the first 2-3s you can't even aggro them, after that they have an iframe that you can aggro them through, after that they have ~5s of DR selfbuff. Then they turn and attack.
Additionaly after the first 10min the despair mob will spawn. You kill a despair mob, then for the next 7min you will have waves with despair mobs (they're the main source of tl and exp here), then it's 3min cd and another 7min of despair, it keeps looping like that. Despair mobs respawn after you kill most of the wave, due to this the smaller the room the more tl/h is possible to get. Especially on classes with big aoe skills.
This mechanic is the main reason why I believe garmoth's data is useless for this spot. There's no exact correlation between tl/h and rare drops here.

SF (mobs wake up) - F WQ SLMB SHIFTRMB SHIFTQ/SHIFTLMB
most mobs die, if they still live through it you can use
Brutal F WF Q
or Brutal F Q WF
or Brutal SQ F WF Q
or F Q WF
or SQ F WF
many options available.
If accel runs out you just charge it with RMB-ARMB-SRMB before approaching a mob, then WRMB SHIFTQ SQ SLMB etc.

Heyyy, nice video as always, was just wondering, why not addind the brutal perforation aswell, the defense nullyfing damage seems good doesn't it?
Sadly death and perforation only work well in pvp. Mobs have way too much hp for it to make a difference.
"Data on garmoth is extremely unreliable for this spot" My biggest problem is people arent stacking mob damage once they get over cap. So the data set becomes flawed even in large sample sizes. You can see this discrepancy in Giants where you can stack around 150 human damage with crystals/artifact/consumes/skill addons. I grind around 31500 trash/hr on succ zerker where the average for capped AP is around 25000 for my class. In any case thanks for the video
True, but at least on other spots you can scale up the trash/h and get on average 90% as accurate results. (Maybe not giants since distos don't scale with your tl/h anyway). With gyfins you have no idea whether it's a despair start, how many butchers someone had, what room someone was using etc. All those factors influence tl/h.
Oh I wasn't even thinking about that. Its true, I cant keep my 100% up if I dont get enough despair mobs which tanks my trash/hr. Do you know if the despair and butcher events drop% based?
Despairs are unaffected by drop rate buffs. Always the same 7min -> 3min timer. Butchers are affected by drop rate buffs though. More drop rate - more butchers. Trash loot they drop is always the same, but you cannot use agris on butchers anymore.

I think I would. Mobs have 888dr during selfbuff. If I want to kill them faster I use simple cron meal.

Good enough. With high enough DP you can fg the big dmg skills. Iframe is a bit iffy, it has a small gap in accel, and a large one without accel.

Contrast and gamma. Also low settings instead of lowest optimal.
How do u charge your accel so fast when it runs out
SHIFTE is 40%, Q is 14.5%, SHIFTQ is 24%. Those are the most important skills, the rest can be any high dps combo you can think of.

It's a skill called brutal ring. It's usually used either from hotbar or with LMB after few skills.

Both. It's higher apm than most classes. But it's also lower apm than something like succ ninja.
How much do u pull outside marni?
I wouldn't know since I never get to do a full hour outside of marni. I don't bother waiting for despair either.
I'm 293 AP Double Tet Narc, Pen Awk/Main Bs-Tri Godr. Max I could get was 32k yellow no agris, i'm using frenzy+bracing. Maybe 19 ap difference is huge here even tho ap effects %70 after certain monster ap ? Because i watched all important parts of the video like when you run out of accel mode while red mob almost waking up i do the same combo too but your's is dying before you even fill your star's breath xd I need to get mroe ap
It might seem like ap doesn't matter much but if you want to kill mobs before their dp buff wears off then you need tons of ap.
Mobs' dr breakpoint while buffed is 888. Meaning that with 900ap you'd deal half of the dmg someone with 1050ap would deal.
I think gyfins is one of those spots where you really want as much ap as you can get. But by the time you have this it's better to go for actual endgame spots.

Combos aren't really useful in most areas in the game. Gyfins might be unique in that sense but I already have a 60min long video with mostly the same combo being repeated over and over.
