- Today we are framing at Starwood, dealing with odds and ends on smaller projects. I am working my way back up to Mammoth from Bakersfield as we speak. Figured I would get this video uploaded while on the trip. Couple of the guys even got a chance to go out and try and catch a fish for the trout opener, take a look and see how the last couple days in Mammoth have gone. Let us know what you think in the comments as always. Thanks for watching.
The timing of the dam + snow melt sounds to me more like Divine Grace & Mercy than luck ❤
Lots of 🙏s have & are being sent for all you all in the record-breaking snow/melt areas!
Sure have enjoyed your channel this Season - very impressive workers you have!! I’m sure they will also get “appreciation baskets” of a sort 😁
I had a quick smile at the incongruity of a guy, in a short sleeved Tshirt, shovelling away at snow piles. Those rivers are certainly fast flowing now.
Using that sump pump & garden hose is like using a straw to drain The Titanic, me think you might want to get an industrial (trailer style pump & bigger hoses...just thinking out loud, love the channel & content.
What a GREAT thing to do‼️You got a wonderful selection of items Laurie ‼️👍The people are going to LOVE those baskets‼️Boy that water is really rushing‼️ Boy, the conditions you are having to work in are still dangerous‼️
Stumbled across your vids little over a month ago and have been enjoying the low key delivery and day to day happenings. Great job of easy going narration. Feels like just sort of hanging around with you and your people. I am a dog owner and just love dogs so I like that you make them a part of everything. I know the Bishop and Mammoth area and points north very well. Covered the whole area for 40 years before I retired from Edison. I am avid skier as well. Best to you.
Nice. I used to work for a huge florist who made their own baskets; yours are comparable if not better...
You have hard working crews. Beautiful work! Hard to work with the quality of lumber these days.
Wow Lake Isabella looked full. I don't remember every seeing that when we lived in Ridgecrest and went to the Central Valley.
Ok, I'm hooked, time to fish. Be there tomorrow.
Modern urban archaeological 🍻
Thanks for the video
Hello from Siesta Key Florida
This last Sunday I went to Owen's Lake and I have never seen it so full. Everyone is talking about Tulare Lake but Owen's Lake becoming thew fullest it has been in 70-100 years is also big news....
I don't know why the news media doesn't cover the Owen's Lake story.
Especially LA because they stole all the water all these years.😡
She was an ocean during the 1997 New Years floods as well. I'll never forget it.
85k !🎉is been here since the beginning of this snow season with ya ! I still want a baseball cap please 🙏 😊
You know that if you lay out some black plastic you can accelerate snow melt
I worked in commercial construction my whole life and it still freaks me out to see the contrast in how residential work is done.
Can you elaborate for us who don't know the difference? I'm curious.
@@tobysmith4662 Well, I don't want this to sound like criticism of him or his crews, because all residential contractors seem work like this. But, every one of those workers would be kicked off a commercial project for not wearing hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, boots, etc., working on roofs and ladders without using fall protection and so on. 30 years of having to make sure my crews follow those rules I guess makes me keenly aware of when they're not. Plus, when you personally know people who have been seriously injured or even DIED in construction accidents, it weighs on you.
@@pasad335 Thanks for your input - I work in a different industry and PPE is also important. Thanks for your observations.
Was at North shore Tahoe over the weekend lake looks great.
im forecasting an episode with heavyD and his rescue team!
Thanks for the update on the excavator. 😂
A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies.
Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value.
She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life.
Shasta is full too.
Trying to have people dig that excavator out with shovels sounds insane to me. Maybe I’m crazy
I told you about the chance for new snow a few days back
They had a crystal ball alright! It's call Geoengineering the weather!
Mike and Bryan should have taken sleds up in the hills instead of poles.
Been watching Salt Lake city as well. They are already having floods and landslides
Maybe you can use that crane to help lift out your machinery.
Ok..... Brian's doing some good talking....lol. But is he also doing the editing?
The crane to get excavator out
That would be too easy.
Why can't you use the digger to dig down hill out rather than uphill?
FYI the video is pretty low quality even on 1080p not sure if this is a GoPro maybe the settings weren’t right
I think you should've shown some footage of upper/lower Twin Lakes. That is a jewel of CA, and one of the most beautiful and picturesque places on Earth. And you showed exactly none of it. 😞
I have a small trash pump that would pump all that water out around the excavator in less than 15 minutes and seeing that machine buried in a quagmire fuels my anxiety while I simultaneously admire your extreme lack of urgency to go fishing. So my head just exploded on my keyboard and that's that, I guess.🤕
😂
snow is just money falling from the sky
Depends on which end of it you are on. For a homeowner, maybe not so much.
careful with radios playing music in the background. Youll get a freaking copyright strike. I am not sure if it is jerks reporting or the AI just scanning and hearing it. Just careful, i know of channels that got in trouble before.
