The flag is the Ghana flag 🇬🇭... Shatta Wale is a Ghanaian artist
You’re the first person to mention Shatta Wale’s name correctly. Amazing.
That’s great.
It’s the melanin in him ...
@@amandare4065 omg lol
Beyonce consistantly uplifting Black people in her newer music and I appreciate that as a young blk man!
Beyonce is representing different African cultures throughout the video. Here are some of the symbolism I picked up:
Different African tribes use body paint to signify different things like hunting, social and religious reasons, during ceremonies and military purposes, or just for decoration.
4:11 - I'm not sure which tribe he represents but the green/teal is a symbol of life, growth freshness, and healing.
4:20 - Bey is rocking Bantu knots which originated from the Zulu people of South Africa, a Bantu ethnic group. The Bantu are found mostly in Southern and East Africa. I'm from South Africa.
4:47 - Queen is wearing a traditional Nigerian headgear called Gele. It's mostly worn in wedding ceremonies or special occasions.
7:46 - The guy in red could be from the Himba people of Namibia or the Maasai who smear themselves with red ochre [for beautification or during ritual ceremonies]
8:00 - The car spinners are from South Africa.
8:10 - Locs are worn by different tribes for different reasons from beauty to symbolizing warriors. As for the jump, new Maasai warriors jump to show their strength and attract a bride.
As for the dances, they are current African dances from different regions, mostly West and South Africa.
You are awesome for that knowledge. Thank you❤️
Beyoncé is the event itself, she raised the industry's level and is taking an entire people along with her, so the whole world can see and appreciate that Black Is king 🤧❤ This album its heavily influenced by african rhytms bc is all about black culture, that's why sounds diffrent from her other songs 😊
Juliana Freitas “and when you grow, you take everyone you love along...” 😭🤍
Well said sis! Beyoncé is in her own league.
Honestly I just love when you say ‘correct me if I’m wrong’ because you genuinely care and want to be educated on the topic and you don’t want to share false information. Love all your videos keep it up 😭. Love when you do Beyoncé videos especially 👀
Yea she is the “poster child” of growth and development u can not NOT be inspired by her, work ethic an all she watches, studies and masters her craft 💕
Everything u said at the beginning is correct! The song is from The Lion King: The Gift Album which came out last summer! The flag is the flag of Ghana! 😁 Please react to Spirit + Bigger by Beyoncé! 🥰
Yes have to do both in one day
Bigger and Otherside!
you better be ready for "my power" the clip is fireee you not ready.. beyoncé caaaameee
Ghana to the world 🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭..... Beyonce has transcended into a icon.
Georgia Manu 🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭
Am here for shatta wale 🔥🔥🔥🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭
I am a proud American- Ghanaian and she highlighted my culture, and so did Janet Jackson in Made for Now...truly great artists
It was part of "The lion king: The gift" album which is separate from the actual LK soundtrack but related to it. She curated, produced and wrote alot of the songs on thr gift . And the black is king movie is just a visual album for the gift. Its the best visual album of all time, surpassing her own lemonade. 😍👑💅🏽
Fun fact Shatta Wale is from Ghana Africa. The flag featured is the Ghanaian flag 🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭. Queen "B" creativity REALLY shinning through in this video, like always. Great reaction Jack 🥰
Ghana represents 🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭 new subscriber 💥💥

PAPI OJO!!!🗣️🗣️🗣️
The guy dancing with Beyoncé is Papi Ojo💥💥💥
She traveled around the world Africa she did different videos for every song🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 The Black is king Album has all the new videos
I remember she was saying she found the dancers for Run the World from a viral video that surfaced from Botswana. You are right, she always keeps it top, fresh, cutting edge. That is why we all are on the edge of our seats when she puts something new out.
Beyoncé did what she came to do with this!!! Did y'all hear them Arabic styled runs in the beginning?! Only Beyoncé!!! The beat, the influences, the homage to the culture >>>>>> #wearekings #blackisking
Could this be a possible Segway into African artists/afrobeats?🤔😊
I'd be down with that.
Thats what I've been waiting for too lol 🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬
🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬
he got the voice of fully grown man
My favorite Beyonce song/ video🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Much love from Ghana🇬🇭❤️❤️ , Shatta Wale is the African dancehall King 👑
One of the best reactions so far.
Shatta Wale is one of the greatest talents in Ghana, West Africa and the flag in there is the Ghanaian flag.
ugh. this whole project was brilliant. the visuals are a+++. get disney+ and watch the whole thing! :) the "MY POWER" segment was my favorite. so good.
@@JackReacts904 please do!
Yes we are waiting on your reaction to Black is King????
You should react to the film. You will not be disappointed, the problem will be the possibility of it being blocked but if it does you can even try uploading in Patreon. And if all fails you will at least get to experience it for yourself :)
Thank you Jack for liking our culture and for reacting to this!!
Love from Gabon 🇬🇦!!!
Yes it was part of the Lion King soundtrack. Black is King is lit 🔥🔥
Yes the song is from her new film that came out about 12 hrs ago, and its a visual album but the story is based on The Lion King.. You should check out the whole ' Black is King ' movie because its a MASTERPIECE!
Yes the genre is called Afrobeat and dances they were doing is called Afrodance. If you want to hear more Afro beat I suggest Burna Boy or WizKid. And if you wanna see more Afrodance, I suggest you watch PetitAfro or Afro dance cyphers!
One of the most outstanding Afrobeats artists right now is Burna Boy. Some really great tracks from him are:
Ye
On the Low
Anybody
Ja Ara E (This one is also from the lion king album and Beyoncé is credited although you don’t hear her on the track. But I think she collabed)
You are the only person I've seen who did any research before reacting to this song. Claps!
It's part of the lion king album u are right. This is just the visuals for the album and also additional tracks. Pls react to Black skin girl next by beyonce and Wizkid
Brown skin girl**
Black Is King is The Lion King album. The album itself is called The Gift. Black Is King is just the visual film for it
Subbed because of Shattaaa!!! 🇬🇭 🔥👅
I saw that stanky face coming thru..😂🤣🤣🤣 how fabulous...😂😂🤗😀
Thank you so much for reacting to this jack. I've been really wanting you to react to afrobeat music so I am pleased. Here are some suggestions below of other afrobeat songs to check out:
Davido ft. Chris Brown - Blow my mind
Burna Boy - on the low
Wizkid- Soco
Inoss'b ft. Diamond Platnmz - Yope Remix
Diamond Platnumz - Jeje
Yemi Alade ft. Anglique Kidjo -Shekere
And honestly, you could check out other songs from these same artists cause they have a large discography.
I love his vibe😩😩.
Shatta Wale is a Ghanian artist, one of the best
Personally my favorite Ghanian artist is the late Ebony Reigns
You should try out her music
The flag on Shatta Wale is Ghana. He is very good and catchy. He is a very great guy.
The album is The Gift, after watching the BLACK IS KING film on Disney plus, i find my self listening to this album everyday, Jack you got to see this film, it great
If you like Afro beats you should react to Burna Boy
Jack Reacts Ye, On The Low, Gbona, Gum Body ft. Jordan Smith are good songs to start with
@@JackReacts904 anybody
Shali K it’s the “Jordan smith” for me I think u mean Jorja Smith
Yeeeessss!! 🥳🥳🥳 I been waiting for black is king film and I’m so glad u reacted to this video!!
The blue young man dancing through out the video is supposed to represent Simba and she is supposed to be watching over him as he journeys thru youth and manhood. She's saying step into your glory and power as he accepts his position as King. He grows and discovers who he truly is and his power within. One of my fav Bey songs and videos as of recent...
The man dancing with Beyoncé is Stephen Ojo, and the blue/green dancers are DWP (Dance With A Purpose).
Brown skin girls by beyonce please
You should watch Black Is King, this video is part of that visual album. It dropped almost 24 hours ago, exclusively on Disney+!
Your voice is EVERYTHING! 😍 Loved your reaction to this video.
The Gift album is so damn beautiful. 10/10 would recommend.
New shatta wale fan from east Africa here and also your new subscriber
Her Album The Gift was the soundtrack from the new lion king which she played nala. The entire album has various afrobeats artists and is absolutely amazing. I’m from London and Afro beats is huge over here, due to the fact that most people my age or a little older (I’m 22) are first generation brits. We have heavily Caribbean and African influence over here, because we are able to track our heritage unlike a lot of American unfortunately because of slavery. You should get into some afrobeats. Burna Boy is a great start and was also featured on her album
Ghana 🇬🇭 to the world ,Shatta wale to the world 🌎 🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭 gh stand up
Simon Dabie 🇬🇭
It took place in many places. London, Belgium, and Ghana. N her home . It was a project
He is top top artist in Ghana 🇬🇭
I love the little dancing green man
You gotta watch the whole movie on Disney Plus! It’s so amazing!
Shatta Wale is a Ghanaian🥰... Ghana in Africa
Anastasia Tee 🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭
Bro. Am a new hear, Shatta Wale from Ghana, 🇬🇭 and I ll give you more information about him. Please can you react to Shatta Wale song :Bullet proof:
Much love and respects to the Queen Beyoncé. She definitely changed the game by collaborating with one of my favorite dancehall artists. This video is unique in a way that it did feature Shatta Wale, as compared to the original 'Already' video that did not have any sign of him in it. I enjoyed the whole jungle outlook (from the octopus to the magnificent bull/bufallo horns, outfit, the chilling out in the trees, coming out of the "river with the tree growing out of it). The point is, one cannot discuss "The Lion King" without the jungle (original video depicted a desertscene). Beyoncé did not make this video all about herself, as compared to the original and most others. It was more fun to watch because it featured regular people dancing with Beyoncé (after the slow-mo part) and having a real good time. A highly energetic song/video. I enjoyed every bit of it from the start to the end 👄
I enjoyed this video!!👌🏽
It was shot in Brooklyn but a team was commissioned to Ghana for the other dancing parts.
Beyonce basically created her own film by her Parkwood Entertainment Company which Disney brought the movie from Beyonce so it's on Disney Plus she's outdoing herself and letting it be known Black ppl are intelligent, artistic, and we matter .She has some haters who said she did this for $$$ and that pissed alot of us off bcuz most of the haters were Black and she's already a Billionaire she did this to open more doors for us the ending credits if her movie she had the names of everyone who helped with this movie down to the person who brought hand sanitizer to set,all Black cast and Black owned, she's basically saying no matter who you are you can do anything you put your mind to,when she said you must follow your light or you will get lost,Great REACTION luv,u always impress me bcuz you read into everything you react to and give honest feedback.
Great reaction Jack
The video was shot in Ghana and all the dancers are in Ghana and Ghanaians
I’m into Jack reacting to new videos!
Btw the main dancer in green that danced with Beyonce is the same guy from Janet's Made for Now video
More of this PLEASE!!!! 🔥🔥🔥
Ugh you're such a vibe

Black is king is actually a documentary that just come out today on Disney + but she also the director on the documentary but it is also based off of the lion king remake
It’s not a documentary.
@@CHEETAH69 whatever I said what I said but i know it is a visual so I don't care
Kevaun Mitchell you said what you said. Sure. But what you said was incorrect.
@@CHEETAH69 shut up it's a documentary Disney plus even said it
@@CHEETAH69 I'm getting tired of people commenting under my stuff If they didn't like what I said then why comment...
I love this song!
You should check out the film Black is King. A beautiful film. The best visual. And that’s the name of the visual, but it’s based on the songs from the Lion King: The Gift

He's like the best artise in Ghana
Check him out
He's very gud
Beyonce's The Lion King :The Gift album is, as she put it, a gift to Africa. I think it's a celebration for the whole black diaspora to feel pride and feel inspired and empowered. Especially songs on here like "Brown Skinned Girl" and "Bigger". You must do the double featured videos of "Spirit/Bigger".
Yes, the whole album has Afrobeats inspired throughout. I hope you consider doing an album listen video so you'll get an idea of the sounds and artists, before watching the visual. It has deep lyrics throughout.
Think of Black is King as Michael Jackson's movie video concept from the album you watched Smooth Criminal on. It's just a video album concept. But the music is all from the Gift soundtrack for the Lion king.
Why did I feel lowkey that you were trolling when you were talking about Brandy's álbum...I just found it too sus that you weren't talkin about Beyoncé 👀. You ain't slick, always got something up your sleeve 😂😌
This song is litty🔥
Fun fact. Did you know that beyoncé's left high heel shoe broke? But then she continued to dance with the man wearing a turquoise body paint, with a high heel shoe on her right foot.
The purple suits are the Masai from Kenya and Tanzania.
Reação show parabéns. Brasil 😊👏👏
React to " Gringo" by Shatta Wale is 🔥 Ghana to the world
Paint dancer - papi ojo
Dances from Ghana and Nigeria.
Afrobeat is cluster of genres. This particular sound is from Ghana
Love the tongue out swag
Thank you for not being IGNORANT and wanting to know what you are unaware of... some don't care to do that even reacting... 💜👍🏿
Great reaction video! The green dancer name is Dancegod.
I don’t know if you have already reacted to M.I.A. but if you haven’t, I highly recommend for you to check her out.
Especially: Bad Girls, Borders, Paper Planes, Y.A.L.A., Boyz, Bucky Done Gun, Born Free, ...

If you haven’t reacted to her singing for Kobe’s funeral, please react to it. She sang XO & Halo. ❤️
