I think he's a dark horse MVP candidate. Probably wont win it because his team won't win a lot of games. But he will have great numbers, definitely drafting him for fantasy
People tend to forget that Jackson and Mahomes were drafted mid to late in the first, to well established teams. There was a reason the Cards were drafting first overall last year, the team sucked ass. So I would hold off on the expectations since the Chiefs and Ravens were much stronger teams the second year. But Murray definitely has the potential just as high as both QBs
Plus Mahomes and Jackson didn't start many games their rookie years, so Kyler already has more experience than they did. I think he'll be top 10 in no time.
as a Steelers fan i was VERY worried that we’d drop the Cardinals game. with Ben being gone and Kyler being the consensus OROY, i didn’t go into that game with a ton of confidence. it took a phenomenal game from Diontae Johnson (and his best one of the season) along with stellar play from the defense to beat the Cards. despite all of that, it was still a pretty close game going into the last 10 minutes of play. Kyler’s for sure an electrifying QB, and now with the acquisition of D Hop, i’m excited to see him play, especially since the only way he’ll play my team in the next 3 years is if it’s in the super bowl.
Which is saying something because that roster really wasn't talented. Every week you could probably name 28 teams that had more natural football talent than what the Cards threw out onto the field. I'm excited that this won't be the case this year.
Idk if this is controversial or not but ive always viewed him almost like a young Russel Wilson, he is as quick and elusive as they come and yet the guy still has an amazing arm
Thats a pretty common comparison I have seen. I'd say Russ is more elusive but I think Kyler has a stronger arm. Either way, I think their careers will look pretty similiar in 20 years
He is exactly what young Russ was and I see him with a little bit of Rodgers in him as well with him being able to extend that play and make those huge plays downfield #KylerforMVP
Watching Kyler at OKLA was so awesome. Than getting drafted to my cardinals! Than winning rookie of the year! Than getting DHOP! What a time to be a cardinals fan
See a lot of Russell Wilson in him, better runner than russ, russ has better touch but kyler will improve there. Most importantly he never quits no matter the score or no matter what his teams record is. I can't wait to see what he looks like when he reaches age 29. Also has a coach that is willing to structure his offense around him.

I’ve been saying for 14 months when this man was drafted that’s he’s next up. Everyone’s called me crazy everyone’s called me bias. But you know what. Kyler Murray has the IT factor. Watch this man tear it up win or loss in the future. I love you kyler. I know you see my name everywhere!
As a passer yea but I feel y’all sleep on lamars ability to read the field while his passing ain’t great there are so much more to him than just his running y’all have to pay more attention
I think as a passer sure he hits those sideline passes better that Lamar struggles with but as far as mobility goes definitely not and it never will be the case where Kyler has better mobility. Kyler doesn’t have great field vision when running for yards either he causes a ton of his own sacks.
Rexy 1776 Kyler’s o line is absolute garbage in comparison to Lamar’s. He’s almost forced to play hero ball far too often while Lamar has the benefit of missing a wide open read within 3 seconds and his line still blocks for another 3 more seconds so he can finally see the wide open guy he’s missed the whole time. Kyler is definitely the guy you’d want to build around.
Impervius His offensive line isn’t actually that bad they are terrible at run blocking, but at pass blocking they are ranked like 20th per PFF which makes them mediocre.

I listened to your podcast prior to watching this UA-cam video... and man, the podcast does not do you justice. This video reflects all the hard work you put into your work, and I truly appriciate it. Thank you...
I'm on board with Kyler Murray! I had huge doubts before game 1 last year when he faced the Lions and got slaughtered for nearly three quarters. As soon as Detroit let up on the blitz Kyler got in a rhythm and he started taking advantage of more time in the pocket. Since then I've been super impressed with how he's progressed throughout the season. Dude's gonna blow up this year.
Great video Zac.. Kyler Murray is the real deal. Yes, I am a long time Cardinals fan.. yes, I am a homer.. no denying it. I watched every pass this kid threw last season and yes.. he made some mistakes just like a rookie will. But you nailed it, he learned from them and he didn't repeat the same mistakes twice. If he takes another leap in year 2 as I expect him to, he's going to be a very good NFL QB. The Cardinals have been trying to successfully draft a QB for as long as I can remember..they have never done it. The closest they came was Jake Plummer who still had his best years as a Bronco. I honestly think that this time, the Cardinals finally did it.. they finally drafted a legit QB of the Future and I am really excited to see where it takes them. Go Cardinals! :)
Such a stark difference from the Rosen/Wilks duo. I used to watch Cards games from start to finish, but it only took me the first half of the first game with Rosen and Wilks to not watch them the rest of the season. Thank goodness they moved on and I got to watch Cards games again.
As a Cardinals fan, and this is the brightest future I remember them having...I really hope there is an NFL season in 2020. The NFC West is a Monster Division. Good breakdown!
Just want to say, really glad/surprised that u mentioned Dan Arnold, a lot of us(cardinal fans) really likes him and we all think he's gonna get more opportunity next season, and he will shine!
People who think Height translates to power kind of kill me lmao. Its all in the hip and throw rotation. I told people all year Kyler was a great QB. But everyone hates Air Raid QBs for some reason. Murray has the best footwork and motion I have seen in awhile outside of Mahomes. Who is once in a century. Don't be shocked if Murray has a transformative year leading Arizona to a playoff berth.
Kyler Murray may be a future MVP. He doesn't NEED to run. it only adds to his elite arm strength, which may be his biggest strength. It's INSANE how mobile he is, and how accurate he is. with DHop coming to Arizona, that offense is gonna be dangerous. and honestly, this is risky but ima say it anyway. watch out for a playoff cardinals team. Isiah Summons is gonna be a great player who can play legitimately any position. incredibly fun cardinals team
Just saw Kyler’s Madden 21 rating, wanted an analysis of his rookie season but I couldn’t remember the name of your channel...definitely subscribing this time
He's almost 5'11, 225 now. At the combine last year he was 5'10 1/8, he's young so he grew almost another inch, he weighed 207 during the combine but put on 7 pounds during the season/offseason then this off season he put on another 10. If you see his wr camp video he just release you see how jacked he is especially in his shoulders now. Its not height, it's hand size and body weight/height ratio. Guys have to have 9 inch hands atleast to have accuracy on their mid to long power throws and he's got the hand size. Guys need to be thick enough for their height to be able to take hits and get make throws using 50% of their power so they still have accuracy. A 6'4 215 qb (Rosen) doesn't have the power and accuracy on mid to long throws of a 6'2 225 Rodgers or 6'3 235 stafford or even a 6' 215 brees. Kyler is a Wilson/flutie hybrid.
Just found your podcast and channel a few weeks ago, love the content. You really put some professionals to shame with your knowledge and analysis. TBH i didnt think much of Kyler, probably cause i didn't watch him much (packers fan) and the Cardinals weren't doing great in 2019. But now you have really opened my eyes to his talent and his maturity at such a young age. If the cardinals can get their act in gear in filling out the rest of their roster around Kyler, I think he may be a multiple SB winner
UGH too many people that don’t know shit about the cardinals talking about the cardinals. People PLEASE SLEEP ON US. And stay sleeping if you weren’t here for Rosen you weren’t here at all
There's another huge thing : his improvement in avoiding negative plays. Early in the year he tried to outrun defenders and often took unnecessary sacks. Later in the year that wasn't happening anymore. Really impressive
I remember watching his college highlights before the draft to see what all the hype was about. He's so twitchy and quick with all his movements, it's like he's on fast forward when everyone else is going normal speed.
I love the new wave of young QBs and I also believe Kyler Murray will be part of that list among Mahomes, Watson, Lamar as the face of the league as the young stars. If I forgot to mention someone don’t hate I just mentioned the 3 guys the new generation will look up to the most and I believe Kyler will be part if it.
We took a risk drafting k1 while having drafted Rosen a year prior in the top 10... I think it will turn our franchise around and be extremely beneficial for us in the long run...
hey, zac! do you mind if i ask where you get these angles of game film at? could definitely help moving forward, as i’m always looking to study and improve my game in any way possible!
rus and murray where both baseball players. I think it’s no coincidence that people love both of their throwing motion and accuracy on the run. that all baseball players do. Really good throwing especially a pitcher and throwing on the run.
OU fans have known K1 is the truth, and people called us crazy for saying he was the best QB in the draft. I've seen his arm strength in person (against UCLA) and the fact people doubted his arm was asinine. Dude was an elite baseball player, his arm strength is obvious. What really impressed me was that he never got hit squarely. He usually slid, got out of bounds, or slipped the hard tackle. Dude is gonna be a stud. Lincoln Riley knows how to prepare his QBs for the next level. K1 and Baker are gonna be nasty for years.
When i said Russell Wilson was the future of the NFL i was wrong. It's Kyler Murray. Ive never seen such a small tremendous athlete throw the ball with such velocity and accuracy and makes great decisions on when to run or throw the ball. That guy is a superstar and future Super Bowl winner.
Unique routes and assignments for one play, is what makes the Air Raid deadly, in the right hands. You might see those plays once or twice a year, but when you do so them, it's on Sports Center.
You're forgetting the Cardinals signed Dylan Cantrell the former star for Kliff Kingsbury at Texas Tech. He's going to know the offense immediately same as Kyler did and flourish. Cardinals are going to be dangerous.
Kyler above all is an insanely driven competitor. There's never a chance of this guy going sideways. OU falls behind Alabama 28-0 in the CFB playoff, he doesn't sulk, he comes out and competes like a mother. He single handedly made it a competitive game. This guy is a winner, I'd bet my last dollar on Kyler Murray. Cardinals are a playoff contender in 2020, Super Bowl contender in 2021, book it.
We lost 5 games last year by 7 points or less. If the cards can fill the gaps in their defense they become a 10 win team easily. Not to mention the tie against the lions, 11 win team.
Love this video as it's pretty spot on. There was one troublesome tendency I noticed as a Cards fan though. There were a lot of times where he really seemed hesitant to throw the ball if his 1st read isn't open. This would lead him to hold onto the ball and usually run off to his right, resulting in a bad outcome. Did you notice this trend at all?
Oh I want to watch some Cardinals games now, DHop got me excited so much for them, I think recently people have forgotten the potential of the Cardinals next season because of the other QB news, but this will be fun to watch
not gonna lie i wasn’t too big on kyler coming out of college but he’s really impressed me this past season. he’s got a strong accurate arm and makes really good decisions, he’s legit
One issue with copying Kyler as a young quarterback as far as taking hits goes is that his quickness is really what allows him to avoid those hits comfortably. Less athletic guys simply aren't able to get to safe areas and get down like he does, they get hit before they get there

Such a stark difference from the Rosen/Wilks duo. I used to watch Cards games from start to finish, but it only took me the first half of the first game with Rosen and Wilks to not watch them the rest of the season. Thank goodness they moved on and I got to watch Cards games again.
I drafted Kyler late in my fantasy league. Betting on a second year breakout
best analysis ever. Kyler is a humble character and will do great things for Arizona
As a Cardinals fan, and this is the brightest future I remember them having...I really hope there is an NFL season in 2020. The NFC West is a Monster Division. Good breakdown!
Coming back around to your channel after 2 years, its good stuff brother, keep it up! Glad to see you're growing.
Just want to say, really glad/surprised that u mentioned Dan Arnold, a lot of us(cardinal fans) really likes him and we all think he's gonna get more opportunity next season, and he will shine!
kylers my favorite player in the league so happy to see you talk about him
I really enjoy the way you do film breakdowns. Great work
People who think Height translates to power kind of kill me lmao.
Just saw Kyler’s Madden 21 rating, wanted an analysis of his rookie season but I couldn’t remember the name of your channel...definitely subscribing this time
Great content dude! Love how short and to the point this is and the editing is 👍🏾. keep it up
A+ as usual Zac!
Glad to see you back Zac!
Great video! Kyler is a stud.
Josh Allen next, please!
Thank you! I’ve been waiting for this for so long
I'VE WAITED SO VERY LONG FOR THISSSS
I have been talking about Dan Arnold for so long! Thank you!
Great video!! I'm sooooo hyped up
The editing in this analysis is perfect and so well put together!
I remember watching his college highlights before the draft to see what all the hype was about. He's so twitchy and quick with all his movements, it's like he's on fast forward when everyone else is going normal speed.
Love your work Zac. Keep it up brother you will go places 😎
Kyler made being a CArdinals fan fun again
Hey Zac, I love your videos keep up the good work man!
This video made me reassess this team and they've suddenly become so good. Will definitely watch their games.
Great video Zac. Keep it up 😊
hey, zac! do you mind if i ask where you get these angles of game film at? could definitely help moving forward, as i’m always looking to study and improve my game in any way possible!
rus and murray where both baseball players. I think it’s no coincidence that people love both of their throwing motion and accuracy on the run. that all baseball players do. Really good throwing especially a pitcher and throwing on the run.
Awesome that you made that point about "Big" Dan Arnold, I hope he can be our breakout TE that we so desperately need in our division.
The Arizona Cardinals will win the NFC West this year! Boom💥Shakalaka!!!
Bigot Sandwich dhop, fitz, Hakeem, Isabella, kyler chase and drake. As well as a few line pickups. Isaiah is gonna be nasty as well
Seahawks win division 49ers close second or win division, and the rams are more talented than the cardinals so I wouldn’t say that
Austin Reed idk ab the rams but i agree otherwise, cards gotta beef up on the defensive side in order to stand a chance
Exactly Chandler Jones can’t do it by himself lol 😂
Bigot Sandwich look at our schedule and see we have one of the easiest schedules but you know what you’re talking about right?!
Great analysis as always man! I don't miss any of your videos
Will you ever make fantasy football videos? I'd love to see them
OU fans have known K1 is the truth, and people called us crazy for saying he was the best QB in the draft.
There are so many interesting stories to watch around the league this year.
I completely agree! I really enjoyed this video, keep up the great work.
Love this video!! Keep up the great content!
Thank you for the video. A lot of time was put into it
When i said Russell Wilson was the future of the NFL i was wrong.
As a niners fan its scary that as russell wilson ages another great qb is coming up in the division
When’s the Phillip rivers film analysis coming?
He sucked. There you go lol
@@TheKalebWard Exactly
He also needs to learn what condoms and birth control are
@@Stretch501st got himself a nba team 🤣
When’s the day u stfu
Great analysis. Thought we had him in RG3 a few years ago but he was the worst of protecting himself
You're forgetting the Cardinals signed Dylan Cantrell the former star for Kliff Kingsbury at Texas Tech. He's going to know the offense immediately same as Kyler did and flourish. Cardinals are going to be dangerous.
What website do you get your film from? I wanna watch film on quarterbacks myself
Always believed that Kyler was so underrated - as a Seahawks fan, he scares me
Kyler above all is an insanely driven competitor.
Good shit Zac. Love ur work.
This guy Murray throws the ball very well. I think he and Hopkins will make some plays.
We lost 5 games last year by 7 points or less. If the cards can fill the gaps in their defense they become a 10 win team easily. Not to mention the tie against the lions, 11 win team.
Zach can you do Daniel Jones rookie year
Yeah I'm so glad you made this!
Watching him at OU for an entire season was magical. The guy has literally everything. So glad he stuck with football over baseball
Anyone else see the ARod comparison?
Footwork in the pocket
Amazing arm etc
It was about gdt you posted this video
