- Come grocery shop with me! Today I went to three stores - Sam’s Club, Aldi, and Meijer. Everything went well until I started shopping at Meijer. As I was shopping they announced that they currently were not accepting electronic payments - cash only. 😳 I don’t think my three dollars were going to cut it. I resigned that I would have to leave my groceries behind, until… Coming along for today’s grocery haul adventure! 😂

I use collapsible crates like that ALL the time. I keep them in my car for groceries/shopping to make it easy to carry in the house and stops things falling over in my car. I use them in my garage for storage. I use them inside my home when im cleaning out/organising things and need temporary sorting bins.
I live in Southwest Illinois and a couple weeks ago, pretty close to when you posted this, Meijer had an entire cash register meltdown. They could not except cash, credit card or any form of payment. Most importantly they couldn’t even log into the cash registers. Anyway, glad I found your channel ❤️.

We got also ATM in the stores but our new atms outside are often broken. I also hardly have cash try to think about it. Also it's no charge when you take it out of the machine. Gas is €2,49 a litre in the Netherlands
That pancake puffcorn stuff sounds weird, but it is DELICIOUS!!! My family is crazy about it, and we brought it to a large family gathering and everyone loved it. Salty sweet in the best way!
Now I feel like I should try it. Next time!

Have you ever thought of getting big tub of vanilla ice-cream and like orange or rootbeer or any soda. They're called ice-cream floats like at Dairy Queen. Any sort of soda works with vanilla. Aldi has some fun soda products that taste really good.
We are around $4.25 a gallon in South Carolina right now. Hopefully going down more soon. Enjoyed your video!😊

You must of been shopping when Rogers Tower went down! Us in Canada were affected alot! I heard some places in the States were too! I never carry cash except my tips I get from work but I had a wedding to go to the next day so off to bank I went ( I never go there either) ATMs worked and for some reason some different bank cards worked but it was hit and miss. Credit cards did work. I guess Rogers holds a monopoly on the interact part of banking so when it goes down, everyone freaks out which I don't blame them! Glad you got your groceries and were able to get cash!!! Lesson learned, always carry some cash!

I drive a 2019 Kia optima. I fill up once a month from a quarter tank. It used to cost me like $25-$30 now it cost closer to $50-$60. I use my grocery rewards at Harris Teeter and get a filler off a gallon which puts it closer to my original price.

I'm 36 and i am still obsessed over dunkaroos. I literally screamed when they came back 🤣 my grandma used to keep them at her house for us when we went over there to stay.
I'm 31 & so am I. The dunkaroo cereal is really good too. My daughter doesn't like dunkaroos lol

When I worked at Wal-Mart the machines would malfunction when it was hot sometimes.

Random about lactose-free ice cream Target actually has the best kind. Target's brand has been by far so good compared to any other lactose free ice cream. And sprouts has something called jolly llama those are also lactose-free cones and they're really good too.
In Australia out fuel is $2.05 a litre so that makes it $7.67 a gallon when converted.

Where I live we pay around 8 dollars for a gallon for gas. It is so expensive. It used to be 5-6 dollars.

The street taco kits are worth the money! They are mild except the salsa is a little spicy. You should try it. My family of four which includes two teen boys love them. I am glad you were able to use the ATM in the store so you didn't have to leave your cart behind. The Big Nate books are good and the Diary of a Wimpy Kid as well as a sugetion for your son.

I was just at Sam’s today and got the air popcorn pancake flavor, I was not a fan of it, but my 3year old was excited to see pancakes on it!!

Wagon wheel pasta is an amazing childhood memory. With butter, salt and pepper with my grandparents. My dad also used it for homemade mac and cheese.

The ice cream I get has blue moon rippled through and it tasted almost like a fruit loops with like vanilla-ish marshmallow sweet flavor.

My son loves the whalberger sauce. Y'all have Fred Myers which is the same as Kroger's in Texas. I use to live in college station Texas and fell in love with Kroger's. But I moved closer back to my home town and the closest one is almost 2 hours away. I only get to go about 3 times a year now. I always try to hit the case lot sales on one of my trips. The taco meal you were looking at at Sam's is really good. I buy one once in a while. You get alot for the price. There is only me my husband and my son. But my son is a growing teenager and can eat alot. We usually get 2 to 3 meals out is it. Well worth it.

I’m in central California and gas is $5.89 - $6.09 depending on the day. It’s about $140 - $150 to fill up. 3 years ago I could fill up for about $80. It’s painful 😭😤🤯

I got gas yesterday for $3.87/gallon at Sam’s in Northern Louisiana.
I'm not sure the reasoning behind it but our local grocerie stores have registers at times saying no cash or only cards. One of those is our local Krogers so go figure. Great haul.
We have a store called Harvest Market that doesn’t allow cash in the self checkout line... that started since Covid. So I think the machine that does cards was just not working. Hopefully next time it will be back on track.
All our stores with self checkout (Minnesota) have ones for only cash, some with only cards, some that you can use both.
It’s because there is a shortage in coins and cash from what I was told. A lot of stores near me like that too but they are starting to open up to cash now too. A lot of places say exact cash if possible and nothing higher then a 50$ bill because they don’t have change

Hey from Australia. i love your posts. Gas, or petrol as well call it atm is $1.97 AUD. its pretty expensive. Fruit and Veg are really expensive, its winter here so no berries ect but at costoco today Bluberries were like $15 USd a pound! nope not doing it!

When we moved house, we strapped it to the top of our van to transport it and the propeller spun round like crazy and people kept honking their horn and madly waving and laughing at us. Totally worth it.

Some ATM’s don’t have fees or certain banks will credit the fee back to your account. Since I’ve never used an ATM, I’m not sure what My bank does. Maybe I’m just out three dollars. ☹️
And yes… we definitely have our usuals! I’m slowly trying to add in more unusual or different things. Hopefully it will help us expand our repertoire. 😊
