I'm glad to hear Trollope is an accessible author. He's on my TBR for Victober and I've never read anything by him.

Same issue with Middlemarch. Read it years ago for a college class alongside Vanity Fair and Bleak House. I remember I liked all the books but only one I really remember anything about is Vanity Fair.

The pajamas and the fire make for such a cozy chatty video! I feel exactly the same way as you do about Middlemarch. I remember loving it, but I can barely remember anything about it! I'd reread it with you if you'd like, but not this Victober. I have way too much that I want to get to this Victober. And I'm delighted that Jane Eyre is in this video! It's one of my favorite books of all time!

Yay, it's Victober! I have Great Expectations as a reread - I just keep Dickens on constant rotation as he is the best. He is absolutely the master of writing quirky and hilarious secondary characters.

What a wonderful video! I am so glad to see someone else who really loved The Warden. I thought it was going to be so-so but necessary introduction to the series-but it was such a charming and cozy character study. The novel has definitely stuck with me. Between you and Katie, I think I have to read some more Dickens! (I so love your videos. Please keep them up.)

Hope your back improves, you could use that bookshelf for books. I started reading Middlemarch a few years ago when it was all hyped up as the best novel, only to find that I had already read it and stopped. I liked the Mill on the Floss and Silas Marner better. I love Jane Eyre and I spent one summer only reading Dickens, read Great Expectations in junior high school.

I also adore Jane Eyre. I actually like the ending, the situation is certainly not the same as before.

David Copperfield has such a special place in my heart. I saw a TV adaptation of Nicholas Nickelby as a child & it terrified me! Tempted to re-read it. LOVE Barchester Towers - have read most of the series & that one's my fave. If you want to read Woolf I would suggest starting with Mrs Dalloway or her non-fiction, A Room of One's Own.

Currently reading Wuthering Heights and am _not_ loving it. Oh well...I *will* push through, haha! You have the perfect surroundings (and pjs) for Victober! Jane Eyre has been one of my favorite books for a long time and even though I've always wanted to I haven't read another Bronte novel. I own books by both Emily and Anne Bronte and another by Charlotte but I keep procrastinating on reading them. I think I'll get one in for victober, though because overtime I see people talking about any of the Bronte books it reminds me of the ones I haven't read yet. Great video! :)
