The tune was composed by Dave Richardson of Boys of the Lough, on a Pittsburgh visit, where his friend bagpiper George Balderose owned the house, in Pittsburgh's near North Side Manchester neighborhood.
This is actually the Calliope House and Cowboy Jig. I did this as an arrangement for wind ensemble/concert band. I tried to model it after the last movement of Holst's 2nd Suite in F for band.
I am one of these 4 violinists. I was 15 when this was recorded. Can't believe that we have reached more than 70k views now.😅 Good memories!
