I have recently cracked walmart interview. Below are the takes from my experience. 1) Online Assessment (2 Sql qsn and 1 DS qsn) 2) Advanced SQL qsn and System design qsn related to DE pipeline.(It's like DW star-schema design and the data structure and different SCD types implementations 3) Spark questions related to tuneing, Scala qsns like higher order, traits with practical code. And basic transformations using spark-scala And got few Cloud computing related questions like CPU and GPU usage in spark . Azure ADF and Databricks qsn 4) Manager round related to previous projects. Note: Be prepared with SQL and any one programming bqz in every round you will face medium level questions. Interview experience was good. All rounds are 1hrs duration each .. But i didn't join😊😇

@@PassionateBiker I am now working as data scientist for one and half year now and what I have observed is there is massive void in companies in data architectures, data pipeline and planning. I do get feeling that how come top management is not paying attention towards things which even fresher like me understand about getting quality for data scientists to work on. Most of the times there is no long term strategy at all. I think this will soon change since lot of data science projects started with hype are dying midway because lack of quality data and planning. I want to be that person at the front end of data source. Also the salary will be quite huge in future as well given the importance of data engineering

Companies ask hell a lot hard question in hackerearth assessments.
Very few companies are hiring data engineer as freshers, even after having internship.
Fresher never get hired for specific role. Company trains on whichever technology work is available in current project
