Did you know that the little mermaid rooms were original built for a Pop Century resort and they started the construction on the building and then stopped building when people stopped traveling as much in the early 2000’s and then years later decided to build art of animation they included the buildings they already built that’s my the little mermaid rooms are the only standard rooms because they were already too far in construction to be built into family suits like the rest of the resort.

We stayed there in the little mermaid room when my daughter had cheer competition. The resort is so beautiful and fun. Hope you had a blast

Lion King is one of my favorites too! One of the best soundtracks of all time. I'd love to see it on Broadway someday!

We loved your tour. This is our favorite. We even bring our doodle Ellie Since it is dog friendly. Cars is So awesome. Totally agree. The food court was cool also! When we went earlier this year the big blue pool was being renovated. Matt , I also was a cast member for a while once upon a time, and Dcl.

I think they went cheap with the shower curtain thing separating the bed area from the sink area. Even All Stars Movies had a door there and another door into the tub/toilet area.
Hey guys! I have been watching your vlogs basically nonstop because I've been really missing Disney World. In my opinion, you guys are my favorite Disney vloggers to watch. Also I love how Shannon loves Alice from Alice in Wonderland as much as I do, and I am a certified somm like Matt. We loved AoA!!! We stayed in the Mermaid rooms during Star Wars Weekends in 2015. Very crowded, but still very enjoyable!! So glad to see they've upgraded to queen beds, and added coffee pots to the rooms (walking to the DFAC every morning for coffee was rough!!).
ohh so jealous you went to Star Wars Weekends!! We never had a chance to go but we hear stories all the time and it sounds like it was the best. Glad you guys like the mermaid rooms, too! Also...we totally know what you mean about the long walks for coffee. We had to do that when we stayed at Riverside years ago and it was rough! Very grateful for the in-room additions 😆

Love your yellow dress💛. So hard to fine dresses when short. Oh and I would love to stay in the Lion King area. Me loving animals definitely. My dream is Animal Kingdom lodge. We were celebrating our anniversary and they upgraded our room to a savannah view and it was even more amazing than I imagined!

We stayed in the cars sections and really enjoyed it....it was just my mom and I and we had a great time

I've seen the aminated 1989 movie called "The Little Mermaid" and the animated 2000 movie called "The Little Mermaid II" before. Ariel is my favorite Disney princess because she's a redhead girl who loves Eric and swims under the sea. I've spotted Sebastian, Flanders, Triton and Ursula before.

Hi Stephanie, so sorry for the delay in our response! It's about 5-10 minutes depending on how quickly you walk 😉 not too bad, but it's still a decent walk to the lobby area/main resort pool. Hope that helps!

when you book you have to specify which section you want because the room sizes/pricing are a little different for each one. The Little Mermaid area has the smallest rooms and the Cars, Lion King, and Nemo areas have family suites. It's such a cute resort!

I know this is totally off-topic, but I'm dying to know what foundation you use.
ha no worries I like talking makeup ☺️ I've tried tons to find a foundation that actually holds up in the FL heat and I wear Diorskin Forever (matte formula). Been wearing it for ab 4 years now and love it! It's pricy but worth it, a little goes a long way. I've found it lasts longest when I set it with Laura Mercier translucent loose powder and Mac Prep + Prime Fix+ setting spray. Hope that helps! (& sorry for the long response 😆)
