italian strings
I've been reading comments saying the spaghetti part has been "plagiarised". I have been getting comments about using spaghetti as strings for years, and I have played the italian meme song numerous times on my channel. This video was just combining those 2 things. It was a pretty obvious idea to come up with.
I always give shoutouts to people and channels if I got ideas/reacted to them (like in this video with the balloon strings guy).
I have watched Bradley Hall video NOW and yes, the punch line is the same, but his jokes are different and the spaghetti part in my video is just a short meme at the end.
I didn't know about his channel before, but thanks for letting me know about this.

I've actually always wondered what gauge of strings you use. I've always found light gauge strings feel really easy to slap with, but I'm too in love with the tone of .50s for fingerstyle. I don't think I'm beefy enough to pop with 50s.

I am learning to play electro-acoustic piccolo bass strings with half-round nickel wound strings 13p 18p 30w 40w tuned CGCG. It has a very beautiful ethereal sound that sustains forever. I built it myself, and play every day. It has four strings and that is quite enough for me. My fingers do not move very fast, and so it is a joy to watch Davie504 play so incredibly well. I like all strings, but half-rounds have the best attributes of both flats and rounds.

Impressive the comparison flat/round they sound exactly the same in slapping. On the guitar flat wound are horrible. I tryied on my Gibson ES335 , and removed half a hour later returning to the BB112 Thomastik-Infeld round wound for jazz. I gotta try flat wound on my bass ...

Davie, do you use Flatwound strings on your Fretless BASS?
I use "Groundwound" strings. Those are roundwounds that have been ground down a bit. They feel almost like flatwounds, and sound almost like roundwounds. Expensive, though... (because the grinding is an extra step in the manufacturing-process, i reckon.)
