This will go down as one of the Greatest Songs Ever recorded........
1:41 The king of country himself, THE Ronnie Milsap! I will forever be a Ronnie fan, no one else compares.
agree to disagree, the king of country is George Strait! no disrespect to Ronnie Milsap he is amazing too.
they should release a version of the song with no instruments cause the opening of this was beautiful
i've been searching through the comments trying to see if anybody has that version!
I thought the same thing was better without instruments
I'm glad that Randy Travis could be in the video even if he couldn't sing. 😞 He's always been my all time favorite.
Kristy Hughes why couldn't he sing though?
He's still recovering from a stroke.
Kristy Hughes Hes been 'recovering' for five years. He's never gonna be able to sing again like he used to
Señor White Boii oh
I'm going to keep believing that Randy will be back to himself one day...his music can't be over yet.
Can never get enough of this masterpiece. will take some time to get this tune stop ringing in my head. Great artistry by all the stars.
The part with Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisleys voices singing I will always love you together sends chills!!! They should do a full duet version together.
your kidding right?
music lovin girl you know they have done a duet before, right? It's called Remind Me
Virginia McDaniel yeah I know that... I think they should do a duet singing I will always love you though
Yeah
You know Dolly Parton wrote that song for Porter Wagoner when they broke up, right?
Goosebumps within 5 seconds of listening
All the songs that I grew up with as a child, all mashed together. Had not even heard about the song until Dan Rather posted it recently. LOVE it ! 🌎☮ ❣
ALL these people are a honor to watch and listen too!~
I did witness the greatness coming together without ego or any malice, that is only possible in country music...! God bless everyone...!
I love these stars! what an awesome job was done by the director!!! kudos I want to be part of his next country music project...... I'm almost done with the u.s. army after 23 long years and have always yearned to become a singing sensation like all these awesome stars!
thank you for your service
John McGillis thank you Mr. McGillis! 😊. I have always wanted to become a country music star but somehow for these 23 years the u.s. Army has had me in various locations/assignments where all I could do was dream. Now that I'm almost done who knows what the chapter in my life will be. I feel lost already because being a soldier/paratrooper is all I've ever known.
do whatever makes you feel happy in life as long as its not bad to do of course lol
Thank you Sir 😊 I wish I could get discovered in music and am gonna see if I can't follow that path
alright well best of luck to you
I will always 💕 you Matthew - Bradley 💘 and Carson! My everything my boys!
omg brads smile ugh he kills me 😘
BradPaisley&RDJ Obsessed yess ❤❤

Thank you CMA......my faith in the genre is resurrecting.
I'm not even a country music fan and i love this video, goosebumps galore!
Joseph Kahn is a video producer god. He always makes amazing effects and videos. He won me over with "Bad Blood". that video was dope, and so is this one. He has definitely made a name for himself. And then he does it in different music genres.

Forever country Luke, that's right ❤️❤️so excited to see and watch cma's but am loving this for now have replayed original video about 30 times!
Me too and shared it daily on my facebook & twitter. I can't get enough of it.
I aso keep playing it. Born in W. Va. plus lived there. I dedicated the song I will always love you to my husband of 42 years who I lost to cancer in Nov. I always told him when we heard this that this song is how I feel about you babe. Now when Dolly sings her part I am in tears. Hoping he hears me still.
beth swansboro I am sure he does. He is in heaven dancing to it and thinking of you too I am sure.
Thank you Carla. My heart is so empty. Just know it was cloudy and the sun just broke through. My sign. Have a great day.
I know it is. I am sure. Glad the sun broke through. You have a great day as well.
love what they did. they should do another and get some more great artists that weren't in this one. Such as Loretta Lynn, Clint Black, Garth Brooks, Aaron Tippin, The Judds, John Michael Montgomery, both Hank Jr & Hank III ( he looks & sounds like his grandfather ), Clay Walker, Tracy Lawrence, Tracy Byrd, etc.
Sorry my voice over was off and I hit the wrong thing
I'm glad you didn't say dan and shay
I didn't even think of them lol. I don't know very many of the newer artists.
And don't forget Mark Chesnutt
Topy Keith aswell mate
love love country music out there.
I agree music lovin girl. I love the 2 of them together. The whole video was just awesome. I hope they play it tonite at the awards show. It was great.
Forever Country along with the (American Idol) Celine / Elvis duet will go down as the finest music compilations ever produced.
Almost every one of my favorites! OMW Dolly's dress is jaw-dropping & gorgeous! Great song, beautiful tribute and THANK YOU so much!!
It's absolutely beautiful the way they did this song!!
absolutely brilliant! Touched my heart xo
forever country is one of my favirate songs and i love it i think all the singers have such such amazing voices and i am in a choir and we sing the song there just such an amazing song ! :)
I'm honoured and thankful you created this for us to hear. It's the best thing Ive ever heard.
FOREVER COUNTRY IN MY HEART!!!!!
I love it, just beautiful!
when I first started watching the music video I thought. hey where's dolly and Reba. and I was like yeahhhh
Such a beautiful collaboration of talents!!! When I first heard the song on the radio, I couldn't wait to see the video, expecting a certain canadian country signer to be featured, and she wasn't. And that singer would be Shania Twain. I wonder why she wasn't asked to be part of this...or if she was asked, why she would have said no given her contribution to country music all these years. But, definitely a song for the records! Thank you!! :)
love the song so much they should do another one
Thank you for creating this amazing harmony.
Thanks
to everyone involved in making of this special video.
Love this
All the country Greats right here, love the song love the video.
I LOVE SO MUCH COUNTRY MUSIC
I LOVE TALL COUNTRY FOREVER
Beautiful, just beautiful
At one point I had a long argument with another poster about John Denver. He said John should not have sung Country Roads because he was NOT from West Virginia. This made no sense to me. Thank you all for the beautiful video.
Just amazing that they had both the King and Queen of country music in one video . George and Dolly . :D
I'd love an a Capella version of this song...
Th3 D0ctor
A beautiful song and video. All artists are amazing!
Love Kacey. So many Favorites in this ♡
beautiful song
I love the acapella in the beginning of this video soo good
I love dolly😍
This is so good
so this is it behind that phenomenal song
I do not know what's more beautiful, Carrie or Brad's Santa Cruz
Great production
great camera view for randy travis. it's really cool even though it's only less than 1 second.
Great video, but huge disappointment, that they did not edit in a clip of John Denver singing a few lines.
Jeff Eckhard - frl like they did with We Are The World and Michael Jackson
I wonder if they included “Take Me Home (Country Roads)” as an apology for how Nashville treated John Denver. Or maybe it was just their way of pitching this to a bigger audience. John Denver wasn’t a country singer, and they didn’t want him even when his hits crossed over. Nashville was pretty nasty to him. And speaking of “We are the World“, they also left John Denver out.
O M F G! THIS ROCKED!🏁
I love that song
Brilliant!
The minute I heard this song, I knew I had to have it, I did download it, this past week, because I am moving soon
"Take Me Home, Country Roads", also known as "Take Me Home" or "Country Roads", is a song written by Bill Danoff, Taffy Nivert, and John Denver about West Virginia. It was released as a single performed by Denver on April 12, 1971, peaking at number 2 on Billboard's US Hot 100 singles for the week ending August 28, 1971. The song was a success on its initial release and was certified Gold by the RIAA on August 18, 1971, and Platinum on April 10, 2017. The song became one of John Denver's most popular and beloved songs. It has continued to sell, with over 1.5 million digital copies sold in the United States. It is considered to be Denver's signature song."I Will Always Love You" Country music singer-songwriter Dolly Parton wrote the song in 1973 for her one-time partner and mentor Porter Wagoner, from whom she was separating professionally after a seven-year partnership. She recorded it in RCA's Studio B in Nashville on June 12, 1973. "I Will Always Love You" was issued on March 18, 1974, as the second single from Parton's thirteenth solo studio album, Jolene (1974)."On the Road Again" is a song written and made famous by country music singer Willie Nelson
They need to do this all over again but with country stars who were not in this video.
I don't care for the Judds anymore. Randy Travis then having his rocker be rocking without him when Dolly's now I'll go gave me goosebumps. When I saw himsinging alittle when he was put in the Music Hall of Fame I could not believe that was him. He really was a good singer. Wishing him well.
This is awesome. How long did it take to record and do the song. Am guessing alot of the artist sang solo and they were all mashed in together. For me the greatest ever country song of all time
To be in that room! ❤️
Randy Owen seems like a really fun grandpa type of a guy.
Keith Urban soooooo talented.
I love it ~~ Forever Country mannn
It was all great, and my last thought at the end was, 'I LOVE Dolly Parton!'
Carrie Marie Underwood Fisher 💙👸🏼
Carrie Marie Underwood Fisher-Paisley
Alex Clarke she has the same middle name as me
I love y'all 💞💞💞😫😫😫
very excellent.
If there was ever a video to Download from iTunes.. Its this one..
love kacey💗
Awesome story! I love how the three songs *("Take Me Home, Country Road", "On the Road Again", and "I Will Always Love You"),* have been melded together to make one awesome song. Is the song available on CD?
brazil i love country
I love this
it's perfect other than they should of hologramed John Denver in
I love Darius Rucker.
Nailed it
Love this song so much.....I do wonder how Blake and Miranda got along....
favorite outfits are definitely Carrie’s Miranda’s Reba’s and Dolly’s
ALAN JACKSON ,IS FOREVER MY FAVORITE COUNTRY
I can't believe Hank Jr. and Garth Brooks were not part of this. Bummer.
There are a few others, but yeah those are two HUGE names not included.
I wonder if some people just couldn't be a part of it due to scheduling conflicts, I mean Garth obviously knew about it since Trisha was there, and I can't imagine that someone just wouldn't be interested in this kind of thing!
In an interview with Billboard magazine, McAnally said that "some of those people were really generous with their time, singing a lot more than what ended up on the track. As we neared the finish line, it came down to some folks literally having just one line left they could sing, and it was like, "Please, God, just let this work with their voice."" Most of the artists sang a line or two, while Little Big Town appeared the most. Not every artist contacted was able to make it into the project. There were a handful of people whose the team couldn't get their schedules to work
R Tiller Garth didn't want too, he was on tour at the time and was busy
West Virginia is my home❤❤❤
estuvo genial
Country is not the same anymore, but this was a neat project.
Joseph Kahn, great video
When I saw this Video I thought it was so beautiful. Of course Alan Jackson is still my favorite, he sent me a autographed Picture which I will always treasure
I have one from John Denver, and yes I treasure it too.
@@mhart78676 I have two of them. One is Christmas and the other his famous songs. When he crashed his plane and died we lost a good person
I wasn't sure who that was at the piano, but was sure it was Ronnie Milsap.
It was Ronnie Milsap.
Joseph kahn forever ❤❤❤
without any melody the sound will still sound great
They should've included Mark Herndon on Alabama's part of Country Roads
its not forever country its country roads by John Denver
❤❤❤ love Alabama ❤❤❤
Well, they never mention John Denver by name, that can't be an oversight, so I just don't understand it. Pretty sure Dolly Parton had the most to do with making this project happen. Notice when Reba is singing "I Will always Love You" verse near the end they got the tempo way too fast, what's up with that?
hosshoss777 John Denver was killed in a plane crash in 1997. What would have been cool is showing a picture of him, maybe with Randy Travis' cameo.
willie and dolly shamelessly promoted their songs and icons and names while leaving the only really good song in that totally unattributed. Travis didn't sing because he's lost his voice, he was included because he's also lost all his money and needed a payday.
Randy had a stroke. I don't agree with your other remarks of him. Yes seeing a picture of John Denver would have been great. This song was him. Probably the way they did the video maybe could not happen.
My favourites is gorge strait,Luke Bryan,Jason aledean, Florida gorgaline
Im wondering where is the Great Garth Brooks in that video
Did this video get Brooks and Dunn to reunite? Maybe?
Miranda!!!!!!!
who is the guy at 3:33 in the sun glasses?
Ronnie Milsap, he also appears at 1:41.
Luke is thinner here and damn Brett Eldredge is hot... If they're going to do something like this again I want to see Josh Turner, Thomas Rhett, Cody Johnson, Chris Young, Brett Young, and Scotty McCreery.
