Good morning. Our planets are aligned with "Finding Peace in 2024" I am newly retired and quite frankly feeling lost. Since I was 15, I've been working outside the home. Schedules, appointments, work/life identity was what I was all about. But I am realizing, this is a new chapter in my life that needs "grace", to accepting this new adventure. Refocusing on me, not creating limitations or boundaries only to fail. Who we are is not what we did for a living and that is difficult to grasp. Children are grown, with lives of their own. Where do I fit in, now? Who am I? The Daily Tracking maybe exactly what I was needing. Not Task orientated but kindness for my soul. Perfect timing, my 2024 Hobonichi Weeks is coming today and I know exactly where my #1-#7 tracking messages will go! You have a new bestie and subscriber!!!
Hey there I’m So glad you found some inspiration - I did finally decide on all 7 spots for tracking and will do another short vid on that as I’ll be saying goodbye to a planner style I’ve used for 5 years and embracing this new system - so kind of a comparison of the two I’m not positive I’ll keep loading vids here - I might but be sure to subscribe to my other channel a chefs cooking studio - I load there most often - I started this one as a place I might load some knitting content? Maybe! So glad you are here!
As for feeling lost- I sure understand that. I’m working on a 3 part vid about workaholism and how I broke (am breaking) free from it. It’s been a five year process. Defining my value based on my output was at the core of it. I’m working daily on knowing I’m worthy even if I only work part time….amazing how our brains work right? ❤
I just stopped a part time job, primarily because once again, the older you are the less they value you. I'm so happy that I did that, for my own self worth.@@Journals4breakfast

Grace is essential and why aren’t we taught that? Society puts so much value on work. We can carve this path together. I’m here for it too ❤
Thank you, I'm glad I found you!@@Journals4breakfast
