Good discussion. Nice changeup from "influencers" just gushing about every car they review. Agree with some of the Porsche comments. I currently own a GT2RS and 992 GT3 MR manual, and I love them both. Turbo S lacks soul and GT3RS feels underpowered for the car and the PDK, but the 992 does have insane handling and braking (just not the perfect road car). Manual GT3 at 6000-9000 rpm is actually super fun to me. GT2RS is the best 911 ever made all around IMO.
You just gotta understand that Porsche is expensive because they’re super reliable compared to any other car brand even compared to Chevy.
They might be as reliable as a Chevy or Toyota but when it breaks its cost 10 times the cost of those
I agree. If I needed a drivers car to put actual mileage on, I’d get a Porsche. Ferraris and Lamborghinis are definitely amazing cars, but there’s something more impressive to me about a car that’s designed and engineered to be driven and beaten on. Nobody is ever going to put *serious* mileage on a Lamborghini or Ferrari.
@@saleh-dt3qj in a Porsche you can launch the car as many times as you want. But in a Lamborghini and pretty much any other supercar brand after certain amount of launches, it cuts power on the launch unless you get it tuned.
I am a college student with 60$ to my name and herring these guys talk about buying 6 figure cars just as a “dinner car” is crazy, really hope i can be like these guys one day

LFA is the most overrated supercar ever IMO. Yes it sounds good but it’s not fast, and it doesn’t look that good. Porsche currently, as a whole, is overrated because of 14 year olds on social media and Porsche elitists but their cars are the furthest thing from dogshit like dude on the left was saying. Aston Martin Vantage V8TT is the most underrated, alongside AMG GTR, and NSX Type S. C7 Z06 > GTR easily, sounds better, great tuning potential like the GTR, better interior etc
