How can coordinate schedules when you work. Can daily lessons be flexible on weekends, evenings or afternoons throughout day?
We are about to start k12, my son is in first grade. I was wondering about the spanish lesson? Did you do something to get those? I can't see anything in our course lessons. We are from Dallas, Tx BTW. LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!! Spanish speaker here too!! 🤭🤭😍

Jessica Valencia, you vlogged on Oct. 19. You posted your vlog on the 22nd. In this video and the previous one of yours, you said "a 6-year-old" for Lillie. You made the same mistake twice. I'm not holding that against you like I shouldn't be. We both knew she turned 7 years old on the 2nd. You must've mixed up the numbers of years old for her. I'm not criticizing your mistakes like I shouldn't be. I've made mistakes myself before. I dwelled on some of 'em as if I were to change what went wrong. In my lifetime, I was upset and stressed about my past mistakes as my thoughts were racing. I'm now learning from my mistakes.

Great video like always! Are you guys learning the new math they had been teaching in school or are you guys just doing basic math? My daughter brings home new math home at It's different! How is she in Spanish?
Hi! Thank you so much. She's doing so good in Spanish and actually loves it and about the math I'm not sure but her math seems advanced from what I remember learning in her grade for instance they are already skip counting in 1st grade and I don't remember leaning that until 3rd grade

Yes we are a bilingual family. Spanish was my first language. Lillie is taking spanish with her k12 and learning it now 😊

Love watching your videos. We are new to k12 and my grandson is doing 6th grade but our schedule is a lot like yours. Very busy days. I think it's so great you are in tune to when your daughter needs a break. I do the same thing with my grandson. I'm thinking of using a whiteboard like you do so he can pick what lessons he works on first. Thanks for all the tips! And yes coffee is mandatory and my cup gets reheated multiple times too lol

I just found this. We have our son in k12 and we can't seem to get a good routine going. The lessons seem overwhelming for him. I noticed you said you don't have your little girl do the online lessons if she is getting the concept of the lesson. What do you do to complete it online and mark it complete? Do you just go to the end and mark complete and only have her take the quizzes? The days are long and the 90 minute ELA for him is a bit crazy. Do you have any advice on how to handle this and work out a better routine than the one they suggest? My son is high functioning Autistic and has ADHD so I know that plays into the issues but we have to get him on a routine soon.
Yes I would just go into the parent portal and mark the lesson complete. I never made my daughter sit through monotonous work. I learned quickly that she would just tune out and it was counterintuitive. We are no longer with K12. It’s been almost two years that we joined a charter and our days are much lighter and fun.
how old was your child when they first started k12?
Thanks for sharing.. I've only been doing this for two and a half weeks..I think my long days are Monday Tuesday Wednesday. Thursday and Fridays I get done by 2:00pm. I had been struggling with the language arts part so many books .lol I think I'm getting a better understanding now ..lol✌✌🤗

Yes. You have to submit a copy of your child’s immunization card and it must be up to date
If your state has religious or medical exemptions, you can submit that in the same place.❤

Are you doing lessons with K12 too? I usually catch up on the weekends or on slower days like Mondays or Fridays.

Good point we are still very new Christians and this was at the beginning of our journey before we even started attending church i don't know what what we will do this year since Halloween was always a very big part of our lives
