In today's episode we are saying goodbye to so many things, our house and all of you. Change is scary and change is hard, but change is also powerful. We are excited to discover the next phase of our journey and we can't wait to share that with you. If you've been with us since the beginning you know how emotional it is to say goodbye to our first home we've lived in for 8 years and lovingly renovated. We put so much love and hard work into this DIY fixer upper and so it's sad to say goodbye to it, but we've grown out of it and are excited to explore the world to see what's next, and hopefully find our dream home. Thank you home for all you have done for us and thank you to all of you for following along on our journey. To all of you, we say goodbye as we take a little time off to renew our creativity so that we can come back to you with a refreshed and inspired perspective.

The interior is SO basic, unless the new buyer is a 17 year old girl, they’re going to have to redo the entire interior. The exterior architecture is very nice though.

I knew this house wasn’t their “forever home” esp since having Moon. It was too small, & a great starter home, but that’s that. It’s time for a new home! Good luck guys! 💕

Yes the house was small. Especially if they want to expand their family. And as for the replies of course they could “make it work” but why live uncomfortably when they have the money to expand and change their surroundings.

@@andrea2634i 1 bed might be a bit extreme but a 2 bedroom is the most common apartment size in European City’s. And many are very old buildings so it’s most likely a Walk up.
But obviously you can’t compare a UA-camrs and former singers or actors from LA with the average European couple with one kid.

A house is made of walls and beams, a home is made of love and dreams.
I grew up an only child with a single mom and we had to move often due to a private matter, and one of my most emotional moving moments will always be this poster I have of my favorite band that always went on my bedroom wall when my mom and I would move into a new home, and then my mom passed away and when I moved into my first home without her that my grandparents helped me buy - I put my poster in the living room because now it was just me and the whole house was my space. Both surreal and heart wrenching.
I am so sorry for your loss my mother means the world to me and I'm not looking forward to her passing at all she's still in really good health, especially for an 81yr old. However, I'm grateful to hear that your grandparents were able to help you buy your 1st home and that you can now hang your poster where ever you want in the house. Good luck with Life & Love
I was just unpacking from my father's funeral and I realized one of my saddest moments in my whole life was that I inherited a gift I had given him years ago with the joke that I would get it back when he died. Good to have a reminder of him but heart wrenching also. Thanks for sharing too.

You guys have added so much value to that house, the buyer doesn't have to do anything. My fave parts are the dining room ceiling, the beautiful kitchen tile, unique breakfast nook, main bedroom french doors, garage gym/bar/bnb!
Watching Kate get emotional made me feel so emotional for her then when they were leaving and Joey did that whole look back that literally broke me, I love you guys and so happy to see were the road leads you 🥲😭❤️

Today I literally moved out of my solo apartment into a home with my new family (partner and his daughter). It is my first night living with a family other than when I was a child. Big things! I can relate to your big things! You both continue to inspire us in our home renovation and decor journey. Best wishes to you three! Much love!!

I went back and watched every episode from the start, I cried when you hit 1 million and when you announced you were pregnant with moon and again during the birth video plus I’m sure a million times in between. When my family sold the house I grew up in, we had to redo all of the floors and snuck in notes about who we were and when we lived there, memories we had etc under the flooring. I doubt they’ll ever be found or read, but I’d like to think that the positive memories physically written down and left there “blessed” the space with positive & sentimental energy. 🥺
As a viewer who’s been here for so long this got me crying too ngl watching moon grow up so far has been a blessing and watching you guys evolve into the adults you’ve become now 😭
The real-estate market is booming because of the shortage in single family homes. You'll probably get more then three /four/five times what you paid. You'll all be missed. Your mom, your sister, Moon, Daddy and Mommy. Oh and the kitties.

We just sold our first home and actually closed today. So, this video hit hard. Packing our life away and seeing all the personal touches and photos stripped off the walls was when it hit me. My sig. other and I grew so much in the time we had with our home. Uprooting yourselves entirely and traveling across the country to seek something better says a lot about you. Thank you so much for sharing your experience. We've been here all along the way and hope to follow your journey for more years to come.

I would cherish those murals forever... they remind me of what my mom's friend painted for me as a doorknob hanger when I was a kid and unfortunately I accidentally broke it but I wish I still had it... Your paintings are so beautiful!
