You do need a lot of patience. I have 1K+ items in my store for years, and it’s weird, old listings, new listings are selling…lol I do go out to eat after I make sales…I work full time so my monthly expenses are covered. I’m doing this as a hobby and spending $, if I save then yay.
The key is getting good items for next to nothing. That way you can haggle on your price. Then get to listing consistently daily. Also remember that your only gonna sell a small percentage of your store and it is most definitely pay to play. It's just the way the game is ran.
Agree! Just today I saw 2 popular eBay UA-camrs talking up using promotion listings. I think the algorithms take a back seat to throwing more $$ at EBay when it comes to sales.
Reselling seems like a swiftly moving target as technology changes rapidly. You have to be open to change and testing new ideas otherwise you will become obsolete faster than ever. He knows what he’s talking about so listen up. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for the update I saw my shirts on the rack behind you and btw I meant in the stream you described items like your book lol you have the keywords down for descriptions 😅
What these "gurus" don't tell you about reselling is... if you really want to do this full time and make money, you need 30k items listed and beyond. Always promote those listings and have a way to feed the beast (replenishment of stock) daily....

Very encouraging, thank you. It's true, sometimes patience is key.

100%
Regardless of the economy, reselling is hard because eBay rigged the platform to favor promoted listings and Big Biz. Ebay is a disaster.
I stopped listing on eBay last year but I am not done lol
@@jeffcole1914What do you list on now?
Is this for eBay USA or worldwide your referring to?

So just promote your listings and grow your business, problem solved. That’s what I’m doing
Thanks so much for this short but valuable video I just finished praying and you came up !!! Thanks

@@BeauJohnson1 awe wonderful!! 🙏🏽👍
Clothing is a very saturated category on ebay.
That’s why if you flip clothes, you better be good. It’s hard but rewarding. I make consistent sales
