The best way is to join TRF or Green Lane Association, that way you will get access to the maps. I don’t have the gpx files to share but it was basically Ireton and Ingleton fell. Happy riding.
@ 👍 Do you ride them to the trails or use something to get them there ? I’m a relative novice to green lanes and have an XT250 which is great, but it’s just too small for me now I’m a bit more experienced. I have to ride to the lanes and the nearest is an hours ride away, so had intended to replace the XT with something more comfortable to get me there-FC Moto 450. I know it’s compromised for some of the more difficult sections - which always pop up mid ride, or right at the end- but I figured if I don’t have a bike that encourages me to travel the distance, then I’ll probably decide to leave it in the garage. However, every time I watch someone on UA-cam doing the lanes they tend to be on a 250/350/500 KTM and I wonder if I should go that route and if it’s practical to ride a couple of hours to a lane regardless of their obvious advantages off road.
@ we do ride to the lanes (legal requirement too). While there are some good lanes on our doorstep, we still put some road miles in. They aren’t the comfiest but we manage. Some miles stood up, some half sat on 😂 If you aren’t a member of TRF or GLAS it’s well worth joining. Happy riding and good luck with the new purchase👍🏻
@ I’m a member of the TRF, but tend to ride on my own or with a friend. I think “aren’t the comfiest, but we manage” is the issue. I like some comforts, probably would have toughed it out 10 years ago, but not now in my mid 60s I need all the encouragement on a winters day to face the elements. Thanks for the help and good riding.
Nice recording, 10x better than the last one 😂
@@obionecoyle3295 Thanks Owen, much appreciated. I just need to get some more footage recorded now 👌🏻👍🏻
Great lanes! Any chance you could share your route?

Thanks, Andy! All the best
