I’m completely obsessed. I love it so much. You look amazing with this pixie cut and I LOVE the stigma you’re trying to break thru with short haired girls. My future mother and law just finished her double mastectomy, chemo, and radiation! She is cancer free- praise God. Her hair and your hair inspire me to know that beautiful women are all so different.

Everytime Sarah does a declutter video, it's a trigger for me to do the same.

Same! I watch videos like this and episodes of hoarders and then wander my house like a crazy person cleaning and decluttering. It’s safe to say decluttering is my hobby.

Me getting rid of two thirds of my room
Getting re-obsessed with your channel has sparked something in my brain. This past month has been full of decluttering, donating, and minimizing our house. It feels so clean and focused now.
Loveee this! My husband and I live in a small apartment and we move quite often, so we dont have the capacity to have clutter. And moving prevents us from holding onto anything we dont need because it gets donated instead of coming with us!
I try to minimize a little bit all of the time, but this video made me pause and DEEP declutter my whole room. I went from living in a big city to moving back in with my parents (think whole apartment condensed into one small bedroom) and I’ve been decluttering for over a YEAR since moving home. And just now I decluttered SO much stuff and just thank you for the inspiration and motivation. I feel content going to sleep 😴

I've been going room by room decluttering, rearranging, painting. It feels soooooo good to get rid of excess things that aren't serving you anymore. I feel so much more in control knowing exactly what we have and where it lives! Love spring cleaning even though it takes forever hahah

Start small 💕 It is a long process, but it is worth it.

Maybe check out messyminimalist channel! She went from a hoarder to a minimalist (still on this journey) but she does it in such a relatable way and easy approach. Go back to her older videos! She really helped me the most out of all UA-camrs that do this kind of minimalism thing ;) and she's such a sweet soul!
Wonder yourself why you want to hold on to things? Are you afraid you need them in the future? Are you telling yourself you gonna repair these things? Does the stuff have emotional value? When you found the reason why you want to hold on to something: ask yourself, am I making a excuse, or is it legit. Be hard for yourself. You don't have to throw it right away, but just be self consious about your reasons. Then try the box methode: stuff things you can't throw away yet in a box. Write the date on the box and shove it in your garage/attic or storage unit. Far away. If you haven't reached for the stuff in the box. Its time to say goodbye. Still emotional about stuff? Make a picture of it and safe it. That way you keep the memory without having the fysical thing around.
Editing is on a whole other level!! I'm in love with the content lately!!

My husband is actually the same size and shape as Kieran! He’s 6’1” and wears a 29/34 in jeans, which you can’t find anywhere! Shopping for him is so difficult because, like you said, the longer items go the wider they get. I am amazed at how much you decluttered! And the fact that you don’t really even have an excess (in my eyes) to begin with. This is definitely in my planner to do for the first of March! I can’t wait to see how much I can give away too. I would love, love a detailed home tour of your decor and design pieces and all the things! I’d also love to know if there is some kind of cleaning schedule you stick to throughout the week to keep up with your bigger house?? We’ve been slowly going through our house to declutter. Our house is always messy&cluttered because we had so much stuff! So each day, I’m taking a little time to go through parts of our house. Almost done with everyone’s clothes & my sons room & we have 3-5 bags already! Feels so good!

Girl, I feel you on the “awkward husband body” problem and finding dress shirts that fit! My husband has a HUGE neck and a TINY waist 🤣. Basically when his job changes from wearing a uniform everyday we are going to have to get some Tailor made shirts because ever the EXTREME SLIM from Calvin Klein doesn’t fit great. 🙄 Do you ever decide to sell thing like on fb Market place instead of Donate, like that bag? Also props to you for how well you stay on top of things! I’m amazed by how much you get rid of and it feels like you do a new declutter video every 4-5 months! I am pretty minimal too but the struggle between not wanting to be wasteful and get every penny’s worth out of the thing I bought always makes me hold on to things for longer 😂 Love you’re channel! We love to use our library. We get books out for the kids constantly and they dont get bored, and I dont have a tonne of books cluttering things up. The fresh supply of books keep them engaged

I needed this video! I consider myself a minimalist, but as a family of 5 in 860sqft house, we still have stuff that drives me nuts! (I'll do well in the extreme minimalist look😂). Feeling grumpy today, and it's all better once I can get rid of some stuff!

I use my IKEA Malm dresser for things besides clothes also. In my kitchen it holds tools, kitchen towels/dishcloths and my plastic food storage pieces.

What an amazing effort!! I was initially thinking you wouldn't have much to declutter so i was very surprised. I've been decluttering the past few weeks since my youngest started school. The amount of stuff I've gotten rid of is crazy. Now i need to tackle all the kids stuff which is going to be so much harder. They suggest to do it with them but i feel that's going to get the results i want
C Jarvis you might be surprised. I decluttered a whole huge area of gifts and prizes from rich kid's birthday parties, and my niece and nephew only wanted one or two things. When I told them I was donating the rest of the prize box of my classroom they were happy to let the rest of it go. Let them know that another child in need will get it and they are apt to let all of it go.

@@lockergr good idea about school. I have been talking to my kids about it and have suggested donating stuff to families who have lost everything in the recent fires here in Australia
I loathe clutter but my husband is the opposite. He has things in his closet from 30 years ago that will never fit him and he is constantly buying wooden pepper mills, wooden chopping boards and knives. It's overwhelming, extremely detrimental to my emotional well being. Even when I declutter my own belongings, I have to do so when he is at work otherwise he will dig through and pull things out. Ugh.
