I wish every guide for SWTOR was like this, it's honestly been exhausting for years trying to find decent content and theory crafters who can streamline things so well. Bravo, friend
Thanks for this guide man, wanna do a shield tech recently because of watching too much of Din Djarin but wanted to make a character that lives the story in swtor. This is the perfect guide for me with minor adjustments.
Glad they listen to the community and brought back 1.0 Powertech playstyle back. The changes when they went down the focus on pvp. Killed the powertech for me. Now I feel I can play it again. Yeah Flamethrower is back.
Do you have biochem on all your toons or are you using the consumable stims and adrenals? Do you have any actual crafters for mods or do you just buy all the components? Just curious.
Hi m8, would you be able to tell me which tank is a proper beefcake that can stand there and face tank, I want to make a tank just to help out but don't want it to be massive micro management thing.
@@TakesCooosh thank you very much, I'll be making PT atm leveling assassin tank but it's so squishy, just doesn't feel like a tank at all, constantly have to dcd procking just to survive with some health without a healer
@@RB-cs5dw I use all the demolisher pieces, 14 shield augs, 1 shield ear piece, 1 shield relic and 1 absorb relic. Then the two legendaries in the video I still use!
There is a vendor on fleet in the supplies area. It’ll spawn a quest and once the quest is finished you can buy them from the droid next to the person you get the quest from.
Honestly all the tanks are viable in my opinion. Just Jugg is super slow right now. I’d personally say Powertech cause I’m biased. Cant go wrong with Sin either. Most of the content I’ve done has been with a Sin Co-tank. Sin is very strong and has good utility.
You went for a tactical that gives more dps and an implant that increases dps. Why not go for power color crystals instead of endurance? Why not do a double grapple as an opener?

Thank you so much. Tanking has always been so confusing for me, and this helped me get a better view of it.
Amazing guide! Implementing this rn
THE PEETEE GOD HIMSELF HAS BLESSED US WITH A GUIDE! Ty Cooosh! We don't deserve you
The only PT Tank Guide you will ever need :)

Just got back to the game after about 8 years. This really helped me out, thanks!!!
Year later and guide is great. Super ez to pickup. Thanks for making these kind of videos!
Thank you!!!!

so so sweet..thanks
Thank you!!
What boots are those? They look great with the pistol in
They are the Advanced Slicer Boots.
has the superheated fuel tactical been discontinue ? don't see it at the vendor on fleet
It should still be there! I did get nerfed but is still around! Sometimes you gotta swap what you want the vendor to show.
do you still take superheated fuel? it is only 25 % crit now. thermal screen now better?
Yeah I do still take Superheated fuel!
Thanks for this great vid. Just make a pt tank and it’s legit. Do you still NIM raid?
THANK YOU! I do still NiM raid, just been traveling quite a bit lately.
Should I install skunk for pvp?
Is this guide still viable in patch 7.5?
Hi m8, would you be able to tell me which tank is a proper beefcake that can stand there and face tank, I want to make a tank just to help out but don't want it to be massive micro management thing.
I would say PT in all honesty. They are very good at just taking a beating and surviving.

@@TakesCooosh hi m8, one last thing what about stay distribution on PT tank?

So with the new mod vendors, I should lean heavily into shield rating and not absorb?
Yeah! I honestly always went high shield stat cause you get so much natural absorb. I wanna say I’m at 6300 shield chance.
Can I guard deception sins?
NEVER
I just hit level 80 and I’m a power tech tank, how do I get those packages, like the supercommando one

Man, now i wanna make a tank. Hahahaha
What's best tank for ops and pve content I'm very new to swtor

PVE only.
