    MORE ABOUT DOCTOR WHO:
Doctor Who is a British science fiction television programme produced by the BBC since November 23rd, 1963. The programme depicts the adventures of a Time Lord called "The Doctor", an extraterrestrial being, appearing to be human. The Doctor explores the universe in a time-travelling space ship called the TARDIS. Its exterior appears as a blue British metropolitan police box, which was a common sight in Britain in the 1960’s when the series first aired. Accompanied by a number of companions, the Doctor combats a variety of foes like the Daleks and Cybermen while working to save civilisations and save people in need.
Beginning with William Hartnell, over fifteen actors have headlined the series as the Doctor. The transition from one actor to another is written into the plot of the show with the concept of regeneration into a new incarnation and body, a plot device in which a Timelord "transforms" into a new body when the current one is too badly harmed to heal normally.
Ncuti Gatwa had previously been announced as Jodie Whittaker's successor after David Tennant reprises his role as the doctor in the 60th anniversary specials as the programme's lead, and many reports stated he would play the Fourteenth Doctor and that Whittaker's Thirteenth Doctor would regenerate into an incarnation portrayed by Gatwa. Upon Jodie Whittaker's final appearance as the character in The Power Of The Doctor, she instead regenerated into a form similar to the Tenth Doctor. This character, portrayed by Tennant, was confirmed to be the Fourteenth Doctor, with later clarification that Ncuti Gatwa would actually portray the Fifteenth Doctor. Ncuti Gatwa’s 15th doctor has also had his companion announced as Millie Gibson playing Ruby Sunday live on Children In Need.
On 24 September 2021, the BBC announced Russell T Davies would return to Doctor Who as showrunner, after having previously acted as showrunner from 2005-2010 for the Ninth and Tenth Doctors. He will succeed Chibnall for the show's 60th anniversary in 2023 and beyond. Davies will be joined by the Bad Wolf production company, which was founded by former Doctor Who executive producer Julie Gardner and former BBC head of drama Jane Tranter. In October 2021, it was announced that Sony would acquire a majority of Bad Wolf. Bad Wolf also took over creative control of Doctor Who beginning with the specials, allowing the BBC to focus on establishing Doctor Who as a global brand. The new era of Doctor Who is being labelled as RTD2 as it is Russel’s second era of Doctor Who.

Fun fact this is actually Murray Gold’s second cameo in the show after he played one of the band musicians in Voyage Of The Damned

The fact everyone assumed this was gonna be like 40 minutes of just musical numbers, and we got like one full musical number, is too funny. I'm glad though. I was dreading this one because I absolutely hate musicals. But I freaking loved this. A couple cringe lines from Maestro but Jinx (if I've misspelled her name let me know XD) did amazing and there were a few moments she sent shivvers up my spine! I thought Millie did great (the destroyed London scene and the scene of her tied up in the musical notes in particular really got to me!) Very excited to see what unfolds with her. I don't like the forth wall breaks (yes, I'm aware they did happen in the Classic show) I just find it cringey as hell. Other than that, It was a great episode and I'm looking forward to the next one! (I like the improved intro but I really don't like the logo. I liked it in the "regeneration" stage, I thought it looked really cool like that, but when it settled into the blue and gold....not a fan.)

the devil's 'chord' is just two notes. A Tritone. it's so called because it basically undermines tonality (which is supposedly god-like), it's an augmented 4th so Start on a C and go to F sharp. you can also get to it by climbing 6 semitones(adjacent notes on a piano). Hope this is helps someone Jim Mexico

    I loved this episode!
Have a degree in music, the over the top performance of Jinx fit, far as I'm concerned.

I absolutely loved it. I don't care about sexual politics & pronouns I accept them & I wish other people would get over themselves. Jinkx Monsoon was amazing & to see Johannes & Shirley was just pure joy. Is that Rubys theme that she played? If it was then i'm prepared to have my heart broken as we all know Ruby is special. Her & Ncuti are great together ❤
( also I live where they filmed the episodes )

Loved it! But then I’m a fan of Doctor Who when it gets bonkers - some of favourite classic-era episodes were when we just went wacky: The Space Museum, The Mind Robber, Inferno, etc. I also love the idea of ‘Conceptual’ gods. Very reminiscent of a DW version of Neil Gaiman’s Sandman mythos, but perhaps more centred on arts.
Also, I’ve been a fan since I was 4/5; I’m in my 50s. The fact that there are actual Queer characters being central to the story feels right, because we’ve been here since day 1 💜💜➕🌈🟦
