At the Bellagio I'm pretty sure they expire after a year no matter what. I was there for 2022 New Years Eve weekend, and when I went back end of December 2023 they explained my comp balanced will be lowered each day as they reached one year and recommended I cash out and used the voucher within 2 days before anymore expired. Also the voucher is good for 2 days but they said they would reissue it if it expired as long as its within a few days.

Your comps fall off a year from when earned. Playing today doesn’t give you a new expiration date at MGM properties. The comps 8 months ago will still fall off in 4 months regardless of play. Caesars properties which are better connected fall off after 6 months of being an inactive player, but any new play today constantly gives you 6 new months.

I assume that you swipe your players card when assigned a table in order to trigger a timer? Then if you take a break...you swipe out. Then swipe back in again upon return?
Once per table. When you leave for a break, the dealer hits a button that puts you "in lobby." You're not earning time. When you return, you're back in.

And are these comps different from the comps we see on our MGM apps? I know Ballys and CP, you earn and it shows up on the app and you can apply it that way but not sure if you re saying MGM properties are in addition to what you see on the app.
30 years a go comp were $1 an hour, breakfast and lunch buffets were all sub 5 or 10, Moneymaker effect, and no limit, low limits, less than $10 -$20 blinds, is what made the poker rooms, not give a player even enough for a good meal while playing. You need to learn real games not just holdthem. Pot limit is a good limit, you need to stop thinking the game is good because it has 3 farm boys in it that move because the flopped bottom pair.
In the late 70's we played a 1-5 spread limit stud game, accounting for inflation, this would be like 5-50 now, and they still gave free buffet comps, they are raking it up on you guys now.

MGM properties are food-only with the comps. At Caesars properties, you can use your comps for rooms.

I always park at the Oyo and cross at the crosswalk, you can be out of your car and in the main entrance in 45 seconds.

Usually I book a casino-hotel for the weekdays because the rates are low. And on the days that are expensive in the casino, I stay in an Airbnb.

Play in one MGM room only applies to restaurants in that one casino.
