It's not all bad. Right before she put her life in the sacred flame she, bought a bunch of Real Estate (which was considered worthless due to all the damage from the abyss), invested in a bunch of stocks and left a bunch of money in the bank as well. When she woke up she was a very very very wealthy woman due to all the land she bought growing in value as the damage was undone, and all the interest, and dividends from the bank and her Investments. This is how she can afford to pay for everyone's room and board during the pilgrimage. On a related note, She also made sure to set up a bunch of advertisements all over the stadium and is making more money from ad Revenue than she is spending on the pilgrimage.
Natlan not having any actual gods or other deities really leaving them in a vulnerable position. I kinda expected more strength from the pyro nation but lets see where things go
They have the Vayob as a secondary force, and the Archon is pretty much equal to a god in power, as we seen in *that* cutscene, not to mention that the combat culture and the entire tournament arc thing does mean that most people in the nation are capable of fending off enemies quite well. The fact that they got the most Abyss activity since the invasion 500 years prior, and they don't have any Abyss mages/influence on the surface speaks a lot about how well the Nightwarden wars go.
@@diaochan7506 The Wayob are avatars of each Natlan Tribe's ancestral memory (it's in their enemy Archive descriptions). They are to their respective tribes what Rukhadevata was to Irminsul. This concept has been established in the past two summer events, since the distinction between "collective un/consciousness" & "hiveminds" was necessary for the regions released right after said events. RE: godlike power. Every quest in Natlan has implied that the pyro gnosis is currently... [possible spoiler alert] ....shared between every Natlan citizen, living AND dead, since the end of the Archon War. For added context: in Liyue, the Archon War ended 2000 years ago. THAT's what the Wayob & Mavuika's Champions are empowered by.
