Sorry for my English. I knew about this. When the channel changes, the frequency changes. The first channel has frequencies of 16 kHz, and the last channel is 11 kHz. 16 kHz allows you to detect small elements, but 11 kHz allows you to find deep elements in the ground. In practice, it is better to use automatic tuning from interference.
i tried my best some years back with minelab. trying to get the instructions on how to access the analytics screen. they would not give me the how to do it. and just kept saying it was for there engineers prepuces only. i think it was meant to be a hidden option similar to the one that was first discovered on the XP Deus metal detector when it first came out. the XY Screen.
never touch mine ! thou set iron mask -6 no disc , sens 18 24 , response fast and deep , sound 11, with this i have pulled up 9 carat small ring over 9 inches in sand

Yes because changing the noise channel changes the frequency.
Why the analytics screen as a teaser? Do you know how to access that screen? Just curious, thanks for the info on the different channels...

That’s great! But I don’t think I would call a 9 carat ring small!
