I don’t believe his close call will affect his 2A stance. This is not to say he absolutely won’t bend on the issue. He hasn’t telegraphed any change of his position since the shooting. While we can’t read his mind, he seems to have physical courage. We know he has the guts to withstand relentless criticism, persecution and pressure spun up by the left for 8 years. This is not a small thing. Reagan signed the Brady Bill because Brady took a bullet to his head that was intended for Reagan. Reagan felt he owed it to Brady’s family. They were close friends. So far, I’ve not heard if the families of the dead and wounded in the Trump attempt are calling for 2A legislation or not. Their wishes may or may not influence Trump. As always, in the end it’s up to us to protect our rights. This will be easier with Trump than Harris

I agree. Really worried about both of them honestly. Trump did ban bump stocks. As gimmicky as they are, that was still a hit on the 2A.
