And the fools are busy praising foolish Ha*as as if they've achieved something. They brought just murder and killing upon the believers. May Allah humiliate them
This man speaks as if he does not know Allah forgives. He gives reminders of simple men while Allah gives hadith Qudsi and from the Prophet SAW gives promises of Allah’s forgiveness. Allah has said “Khuleeqal insanu Dhaeefa, humans are created weak” Humans will make mistakes and Allah is the forgiving and merciful. Sins that you will be punished for with certainty is eating the wealth of the orphan, or abusing the poor, or backbiting and harming someone’s honor, or violating someone’s rights. Allah does punish, and he does also forgive. He states that his mercy is before his anger and Allah favors mercy, Allah is too great and does not need anything or anyone to obey him. He has created humans and jinn to worship him and reflect about the signs of Allah and his attributes of Allah displayed through his creation. Be careful of thinking of Allah the way this sheikh is speaking because this brings despair of Allah and certainly pushes people out of Islam.
Allah doesn't need obedience from us, but He still commands it and we need to obey Him! Careful not to go to an extreme on only looking at the mercy of Allah.
Also what you mentioned are not the only sins that Allah would punish for. He would punish for any sin actually, but He has told us that if we leave off the major sins, He would forgive and overlook the minor sins.
And punishment for sins in this world could actually be out of the mercy of Allah to expiate our sins in this world so that we don't have to face the consequences for them in the after life.
Ok I understand your point of view now. I just replied out of concern. I thought you were one of those people who thinks its ok to deliberately sin disobey Allah and then say "Allah is merciful". But I get you now and I think you're right, Allahualam. But I don't think there was any need for you to begin your reply quoting surah Al qafirun on me because we are upon the same creed.
