The only issue with doing that is you have to fully build it out for you to really start to see the DPS increase. The reason for this is because of how low the crit multi and crit chance is on the gun. But if built right I think you could see way more damage then what I was able to achieve with the afterglow. Also since I have put 3 different builds I would pick one that you would want to do and then use catalysts around that so this way your not wasting your time and catalysts.
@@drdickenbalz so yes afterglow does have better crit muti. But piercing has such a higher base firearm attk that I think once fully built out piercing will be better.
Lucky timing on this build. I just got the mod for the stealth ability. Something cool I discovered was that for people who may struggle to get to the final boss and clear him, it's technically possible to "combine" 4 other Transcendent Mods and roll into this Mod without properly grinding for it. Obviously the odds of just rolling into it are probably astronomically low, but It is possible since that's how I just got it without realizing that the only way to get it will be a long ways away for the majority of the player base. So basically, for anyone with multiple extra copies of Transcendent Mods, it wouldn't hurt to combine 4 of them and just test your luck at getting some of the Mods that only drop from the end game hard bosses. When combining Mods, you'll always get a Mod of the same tier if all 4 mods you combine are of the same tier.
Me realizing that the devs don't care if you're doing this because they put the mod as a drop from the final boss. Almost as a "We know this is cracked, so beat the bosses first and then have fun."
@@SiahZI got mines on normal in the open world posted it on twitter and all. I had a farm i would do to get transcendients once I got almost all the mods I stopped doing them I even got ultimate ones from this farm. Last time I checked I was only able to get the transcendients when I either joined and the player was at the last boss or vice versa.

Note to siah. I have Mid Air maneuvering and its GREAT! But.. for the outposts especially the ones with 4 objectives. Its not worth it. The cooldown time is tooo slow. So if your gonna farm. Farm Multi Maneuvering you get 3 grapples one for each objective. I think they made it specifically for her tbh

Nice I run a similar build but put more defense mods instead of skill power mods and also you don't lose damage when using Overwhelming HP mod (the one that sets your max shield to 1). Since you get the full 50% damage buff from it eating your atleast half your max shields and with your max shields set to 1 it will eat .5 and the game will round that back up to 1 so you can build straight cd and spam it for the full 50% extra damage. note that the snipers have low ammo and if you don't have an enzo you can't keep it out all the time but the perforator is a good back up.
Pretty sure the shields are just percentage based instead of actual count. You can use Overwhelming HP which makes your shield 1 and you’ll still hit with the same amount of damage. The best part is you don’t need shield recovery because your character can naturally recover that 1 shield really fast regardless. And also you should lower the ambush cooldown to about 8 seconds or 7 seconds because you take about 2 seconds to reload, this will maximize your dps.
Thanks for the guide. Started using Sharen for the Infiltration but started to enjoy using her. Without the energy activator, its really tough to take down the infiltration outpost boss though as most of my capacity went towards skill duration :)
For the infiltration missions, you don't need to waste a slot on skill duration, just go invis, then deactivate 1 or 2 stations, then go back just outside the arena when invis runs out. wait for cooldown and then go back in with invis for the remaining stations
To get afterglow sword you have to get through really annoying farm (took me 5 or 6 days and 92 hard executioner kills to get that 10% drop), and struggle your way through the first two hard bosses. In the end of the day, if you have done it, you deserve to have an OP build
The one mod I need OVERCHARGED Edge is on Hard and on Molten Fortress. I can barely beat the Colossi on hard mode! I'm never getting this mod LMAO!!! Thanks for the Build. Sharen was my main but Im about to switch LOL
How much cap does your Sharen have? Won't be ez to solo the outpost until u have at least used an energy activator on her and have some leveled up hp/def mods.

@@mightytoonthat is a lie. I've been soloing outposts since I got her to lvl 27. Just do invis infiltration and put on a heavy hitting sniper. Shoot the boss from invis and either 2 shot him or 1 shot on a crit.
There is a yellow mod for snipers that gives 150% on weak points instead of 200% on reload, which I feel is a bit more consistent, however you did give me some other ideas for the descendant per se specially to lvl her up
@@aeslofi I was testing out the mod that gives 140% weak point damage but it seems like it gives less damage then strengthen first shot. But if your intention is to keep DPS up and not have to rely on reloading then yes the weak point mod would be better.

Huge guide! With the launch of First Descendant i wanted to change it up a bit and decided going Sharen route! Absolutely love her playstyle and was always interested in a sniper build. Got both first shot & Weak point (yellows) maxed. Not sure honestly which is better somehow hits keep changing. Also with first shot u would have to have always that extra mag of ammo to reload and hit which is a bit meh...
@@EpicSlayerable So like you said in my testing first shot gives more damage but you have to be able to reload. So if you want more consistent DPS I would go with weak point expansion.

I told the first day - with Ambush she is going be crazy But EVERY SINGLE ""builder"" said she is useless F tier - build Gley and Tamer! I have a HUGE tip for you build since Im building this Sharen for last 4 days and learned a lot : 1)ALWAYS TAKE another sniper on 3th slot with HUGE weapon swap speed. On this UTILITY sniper you put Max bullets AND picking up special bullets gives you high power ones MOD. During fight if you see orange bullets - SWAP weapon and take them 2)ALWAYS PUT on Afterglow a mod picking up impact bullets gives you high power. With those 2 mods you will ALWAYS find bullets on the battlefield and continue to shoot like if you were Enzo.
Do you know why the mod is bugged and doesnt scale with more shield or knowor know if its supposed to. It doesnt provide additional damage like it says
In my testing it seems to be working it just consumes a lot less shields to reach the max damage increase. I am not to sure why this is but I am not going to complain.
I never tried doing that cause the wording said 50 percent of shields, so I thought if you have 1 it cant work but I guess I was wrong. Doing that would make the survivability go up a lot.

Yes, if you use melting rounds with the afterglow you will be able to do some insane damage like you see in the video. if you don't got any of the ultimate snipers you could always run the Forest Gaze until you get your hands on one of them.
I'm a little confused. Does skill power somehow scale the damage amp? Because if not, no point in running any skill power mods for the bossing build. Could actually add in 'Focus on Electric' and 'Focus on Fusion' for 12.2 extra CD, max out your mp conversion and you'd bring your camo cooldown to around 5.1 DOUBLING the amount of empowered shots you could launch. Also, you could probably replace 'Spear&Shield' with regular 'Increased Defence' in the bossing build for the same reasons and get a 'free' 70% more def.
So skill power does nothing for our camo which is why for the bossing build I don't run anything that increases skill power. I just run HP, defense, cooldown, and resistance mods.
SMG, you can search up 32s Ajax Thunder Cage video. Since Ajax has no big self buff, that set up is probably going to be even better on other characters.
So I went and did my own testing. At first I had 6k shields and I was hitting on the dummy for 7.2mill. I then went and took off piece by piece of gear to get my shields lower and lower. I took off every single piece until I got down to 500 shields and I was still hitting for 7.2 mill. So I looked up online and other sharens were saying you only need to consume 100 shields to get max damage out of the mod, which lines up with my testing.
nice build but any plans to use her other abilites instead of just a sniper/ambush? a lot of boss situations wont be viable for sniper tbh, standing still isnt ideal
So I been using Camo verse all of the bosses in the game and so far it has worked without issue. I do show 2 other builds in the video you could try out as well.
Great build, is afterglow build "equally" viable as the bossing build? I can't get the overcharged module yet, so was wondering if the afterglow build can carry me to that point?

@@Galendramatik no your all good, please ask as many questions as you like. So melting rounds is your descendant mod, it would go over overcharged edge. Overcharged edge is way better but to get it you have to kill the last hard mode intercept boss, so until then just put melting rounds in it's place on your descendant until you get overcharged edge. Hope that helps.
Running spear and shield without base def module is a waste and running both on sharen is also a waste. You loose like 60% def for 8% power by not using increase def card instead of that one. Same with running frontlines without emergency measures - sharen's base crit is good and crit increase does a lot for her.
@@zDaedric424 Yes it could work just as well. So piercing light has way higher base damage but it has less crit chance and crit multiplier. So you would need to invest into it more to get those stats up to match afterglow. But it could work just as well if not better than the afterglow.
And here’s proof that that a guy I played with on this game saying sharen is only good for support doesn’t know what to do with character build type games.
Hey, so I see that the Overcharged Edge is also modifying the passive ability (I'm assuming so because its glowing green). Do you know what the change is from the default description of the passive ability?

@@ihxteiewo8057 Yes, in theory piercing light should do more damage but it does have way less crit multi and crit chance. So you would need more investment into it to see a return.
we are using her camo, running crit on her mods does nothing for her camo. if you wanted to use her first or forth skill then you would build for crit.
I hate it when they cut the boss selection and choose bosses that are there in both hard and normal modes, it's hard to understand if the video is reliable or not in this way
So I did test them and it seems like first shot gives more damage. Now I did test them both unleveled so I don't know if both of them were maxed it would be different but I don't think it would change anything.

She is a must for Infiltrations and a dps monster when it comes to bossing. I hope the guide was able to help you out in some way.

Just throw some duration mods on her and you should be able to complete them.

They both have cool downs tho so why not use the higher DMG one

Poor Devourer always used as a punching bag or dps test. It should be pyro because of it's Firearm resistance.

got mine twice from combining red mods . dismantled the first one before videos dropped on her and then got it again recently .
I'm so god damn tired of building 1 character or weapon then something else comes out just for me to have to build it again.
@@sythex92 it's definitely worth building up sharen. She is a DPS king when it comes to bossing and you need her for infiltration bonuses on outposts.

I'm a little confused. Does skill power somehow scale the damage amp? Because if not, no point in running any skill power mods for the bossing build. Could actually add in 'Focus on Electric' and 'Focus on Fusion' for 12.2 extra CD, max out your mp conversion and you'd bring your camo cooldown to around 5.1 DOUBLING the amount of empowered shots you could launch. Also, you could probably replace 'Spear&Shield' with regular 'Increased Defence' in the bossing build for the same reasons and get a 'free' 70% more def.
So skill power does nothing for our camo which is why for the bossing build I don't run anything that increases skill power. I just run HP, defense, cooldown, and resistance mods.

@@truesparta9722 not that I know of for sharen. You can always run smgs or ARs but her skills don't really do anything for that.
SMG, you can search up 32s Ajax Thunder Cage video. Since Ajax has no big self buff, that set up is probably going to be even better on other characters.

I think you missing something, I think the higher the shield the more damage the ambush will make. It's consuming the overall 50% of that total.

Where did you get the info that 100 shield is the amount you need to max overcharged edge damage out?
So I went and did my own testing. At first I had 6k shields and I was hitting on the dummy for 7.2mill. I then went and took off piece by piece of gear to get my shields lower and lower. I took off every single piece until I got down to 500 shields and I was still hitting for 7.2 mill. So I looked up online and other sharens were saying you only need to consume 100 shields to get max damage out of the mod, which lines up with my testing.

nice build but any plans to use her other abilites instead of just a sniper/ambush? a lot of boss situations wont be viable for sniper tbh, standing still isnt ideal
So I been using Camo verse all of the bosses in the game and so far it has worked without issue. I do show 2 other builds in the video you could try out as well.

@@Koroshimod what I did was farm the boss and combined transcender mods when I could. That's all you can really do to get it to drop.

Great build, is afterglow build "equally" viable as the bossing build? I can't get the overcharged module yet, so was wondering if the afterglow build can carry me to that point?
Yes before I got overcharged I was able to kill hard mode Devourer in like 1 min or so with melting rounds mod instead.

@@Galendramatik no your all good, please ask as many questions as you like. So melting rounds is your descendant mod, it would go over overcharged edge. Overcharged edge is way better but to get it you have to kill the last hard mode intercept boss, so until then just put melting rounds in it's place on your descendant until you get overcharged edge. Hope that helps.

Running spear and shield without base def module is a waste and running both on sharen is also a waste. You loose like 60% def for 8% power by not using increase def card instead of that one. Same with running frontlines without emergency measures - sharen's base crit is good and crit increase does a lot for her.
Is piercing light not better? I thought the firearm atk was much higher
Yes it is better but a lot harder to build into because of the less crit multi and crit chance.

@@zDaedric424 Yes it could work just as well. So piercing light has way higher base damage but it has less crit chance and crit multiplier. So you would need to invest into it more to get those stats up to match afterglow. But it could work just as well if not better than the afterglow.
So On The Tingling Reactors Would Go For Skill Crit Rate & Crit DMG & Have Matching Skill For Each Reactor

Kind of, so you do need to build into it a little with skill power and crit. After you do that you will be hitting like a truck.

Hey, so I see that the Overcharged Edge is also modifying the passive ability (I'm assuming so because its glowing green). Do you know what the change is from the default description of the passive ability?
Instead of 100% bonus damage, it's up to 200% based on % of shield consumed from Overcharged Edge

@@swift4010 I checked since I also have it and literally nothing changes in the overall passive. I'm guessing it's green because Active Camo is now named as Overcharged Edge

you can use forest gaze until you get the afterglow, as for mods you can run melting rounds until you get overcharged edge.

we are using her camo, running crit on her mods does nothing for her camo. if you wanted to use her first or forth skill then you would build for crit.
What about running preemptive? Or is that not worth it

I hate it when they cut the boss selection and choose bosses that are there in both hard and normal modes, it's hard to understand if the video is reliable or not in this way
I usually put in the montage that it's hard mode so people know but this time I forgot to do so.

So I did test them and it seems like first shot gives more damage. Now I did test them both unleveled so I don't know if both of them were maxed it would be different but I don't think it would change anything.

Yes you can buy them in the cash shop. But that's up too you if you want to spend money on them.
