Just Joyful. 👍 I’m heading down the rabbit hole of melodeons. Currently learning the harmonica but love the sound of the melodeon and the style of music generally played on them. Question is do I go D/G or B/C.
That depends on which style of music you want to play. If you want to play English music, then go for a D/G. If you want to play Irish music, go for a B/C, but sometimes it can also be played on a D/G as well.

If you want fun bass lines, get a D\G ( or, A/D, or….)
What model is this ?
@@k8sl It's a Hohner pre-Pokerwork, 2 row, 2 voice, 12 bass (with a stop to remove 3rds from chords) diatonic button accordion (melodeon) in D/G.
