- A variety of leaks and rumors are coming up for the June 2024 Nintendo Direct. The 18th date may have been leaked, 2d Zelda may be about to be announced, and Metroid Prime 4 could be looking to have its reveal. There is much to discuss!

If Prime 4 is in the direct, it's no surprise that it hasn't leaked at all. Retro DOES NOT HAVE LEAKS. They lock themselves in their office and don't make any statements or anything lol. The only ones who know anything about Prime 4 is Retro, Nintendo higher ups, and the game testers.

@@freiaz494 Not even 1% accurate. It is factually publicaly confirmed to be a Switch game. Not switch 2. Nintendo's own documents shown to investors have it as Switch Exclusive. You are getting what you WANT to be the case mixed up with reality.

A new 2d Zelda would be perfect and be the highlight of the direct if it's just some remaster, remakes, and Mario Party.
I think the reason Nintendo doesn't do Gamefest is cause Nintendo likes to keep to themselves. They keep their stuff close to he chest. They don't want leaks, they are very strict and careful with what they do.

The Midori stuff is weird to me.
I simply do not understand why people cared so much about their identity. I thought we only followed Midori for the leaks, but apparently people cared more about their gender & race?
And people say "they ran out of info" so who cares? My thoughts are "if they didn't get exposed, they could've continued trading into or leveraging their reputation to get more info."
But hey, I guess I'm just not shocked someone trying to hide their identity online lied about their identity online.

@charliecoree Ah, I never knew about the broken English thing. I never noticed any "roleplaying" from the Midori stuff I saw, but trying to cover their identity by using a different gender/race seems like something most anonymous people would do.
But if they went out of their way to perpetuate stereotypes, then yeah, that's weird.
The Direct needs to have some bangers if this is the last one for Switch which it def is.

@@Mauricio0973 tbh that’s kinda what I’m thinking this one’s gonna be maybe 1 or 2 big surprises left for switch but mostly just ports and remasters/remakes which I don’t mind as they’re transitioning onto switch 2 but I think big exclusive new games are coming to an end very soon
Being honest, I'm not really hung up on expecting them to ''do a 2019'' again for the Switch 1 now. I'm happy to wait for the real fireworks for the Real deal that's going to be coming up and Dominating from next Year, not a console that's really long in the tooth.
But for sure as leading upto any proper Direct there's going to be some anticipation and excitement, and I am.
Man I really really really want to see Prime 4 here, so badly. At this point I don’t care about the cross-gen conversation or what time it’s releasing anymore. I JUST WANT TO SEE THE GAME. I will cry please Nintendo I want to speculate on the damn game itself not everything surrounding it. ITS BEEN 7 YEARS WITHOUT A PEEP OF FOOTAGE WITH A LOGO THATS PROBABLY NOW OUTDATED. I feel like I’m going insane waiting for this damn game.
For what it's worth, if it's not revealed in the next direct it's a cross generational game.
@@shawnsenese1760 most likely, I just want to see it though. See Samus’s design, the potential story, lore, and maybe even some in visor gameplay. Something to actually speculate about.

i honestly cant figure out why i would ever care about the personal live of a leaker, they aren't a celebrity or an influencer, they're just to be credible or not and the leaks themselves are to be talked about and that's it. i don't see why i would care about anything else to do with a leaker.
It's just a bit of Fun some of the Gaming Community like to have. What do you care about then in terms of gaming?

I'm ready to be letdown again with Prime 4. There's no leaks about that.
Seven years seems nuts. But they have tried to keep fans occupied with other Metroid releases

They either announce prime 4 this month, or for the switch successor. I feel like it fits more with the latter, driving more people to get the new console/switch-2
I really believe we will see MP4 this Direct, but I think the end of the reveal is going to say “2025”.
I think MP2 and MP3 will be revealed first in the direct and MP4 at the end or towards the end. MP2&3 will either come out together or very close together.
I don’t think Nintendo will pass up MP4 not being a cross gen title for Switch 2. They’ve told us it will come out for Switch 1, but with us being so close to the next gen, it’s a perfect opportunity for them to bank on it through both consoles.
Can we really be sure it's a Switch Game, especially when there's a history of Metroid games being on a different console than they initially confirmed it would be at..

IIRC, Pyoro never said anything about the Mega Man Game Boy collection before that dropped on NSO. This has me wondering if that was a one off or he really did lose his access. No idea, though

Midori was never that interesting of a leaker. Most of the stuff, at least recently, had been codenames for games that we could already assume were in development. Pyoro remains number one.

I'm sorry but the date being sometime in mid/late June is pretty obvious.
If you look at previous years, Nintendo has always put out a direct in June. If anything couldn't make it into the direct, it has it's own presentation pushed to July/August.
Fall Guys is also releasing Marvel costumes on the 18th, which seems likely to appear in the direct.
An island-hopping Zelda with BOTW/TOTK physics and underwater exploration would be a great way to make a sequel to Tears of the Kingdom if not a dream game since Windwaker.
And reintroducing Labrynna (Oracle of Ages) and Holodrum (Oracle of Seasons) with the TOTK/BOTW physics may not be a bad idea since many of us are curious of what’s outside of Hyrule’s borders.I am more curious of what Yona’s Zora’s Zora's Domain is like.
The Era of the Wild needs a proper conclusion of Hyrule being rebuilt and Link x Zelda started a family of their own. Thus, Link, Zelda and the Sages (Sidon, Tulin, Riju and Yunobo) set out on an exploration of foreign lands outside of Hyrule by sea.
People are overhying it. The best case scenario es metroid prime 4. We are probably having the TP/WW remasters that will make people complain because they are going to cost 60$ each. We are having some third party games, some indie games and gamecube/3ds ports. And xenoblade chronicles x por which is the last thing that remains to be ported to switch.. and starfox zero with normal controls
Yea, but also you always get the people that try and Police the hype. I'm sure those people get it, realistically they're not hard wired into banging on Nintendo's door if the Direct is not what ''people expected'' - it's all just a bit of Fun because that's what gaming is about. Remember this Direct will still be Switch 1 focused but this time, they've announced the Switch '2', so I'm not expecting a tour de Force like 2019 to ''send off the Switch on a high''. But definitely some IP's need addressing.

@@cristiany140 Yep! The 'hype' game I'm hoping for is Donkey Kong 3D. Despite the Switch 2 being announced before, I do think Nintendo need to still show off something at least half strong in response to XBoxs recent Perfect Dark game. 🤞

I'm hyped for the next direct on the 18th but can I just add some constructive criticism towards your video. my only problem is that you stated you wouldn't cover leaks via Midori due to them deleting their account. in terms of that no problem there but my issue is you then proceeded to immediately cover them afterwards through those twitter DMs. other than that enjoyed the video have a good day.
I expect a lot. Hoping the Metroid and Zelda ports finally happen. We waited a long time for the Wind waker and Twilight princess ports. It will make my year if announced. A 2d Zelda new or remake would be really good. Lets do this. Hype is rocketing😮!

a legend of Zelda link between worlds port or remake would be nice. Out of all 2d Zelda’s link between worlds is probably the best, a link to the past remake wouldn’t make sense since in a sense they already did that so I think if there was a new 2d Zelda it’ll be a port of link between worlds or a remake of the Oracle games

Been hearing the Dragon Quest HD 2D is just 3 DQ 1 & 2 are not a part of this remake although the lead dev on the game did said he was interested in remaking the other 2 games after this one.
This Direct should be what all fans are hoping for. For Me I do want to see all of the rumored ports that we heard of. It's time for nintendo to give us A Zelda 3D collection game to end the switch year off with.

I'm hoping to see Super Mario Galaxy 2 appear at the Direct so I can play it in July this year. I won't give up on that. Never.
Is there any proof of Midori's "bad" past and being a guy or is this just random accusations that aren't proven? IF true, then I'm more confident then ever that Pyoro is a Nintendo account. And they followed Midori to infiltrate and try to find out the source of Midori's info and stop it.

There really wasn't any "new" leaks in the video. He was covering stuff about Midori being not who she claimed to be and stuff. He mentioned the usual stuff a 2D Zelda, DQ1-3 HD trilogy.

At this point i'm just preemptively dissapointed in the direct.
Prime 4 won't make an appearance, we might get first party trailers for fire emblem and possibly a new DK game trailer but there won't be anything exciting for me, like the past 4 years of directs (minus the totk direct)

I don’t want them. But I’m 100% positive they’ll release Zelda TP and/or Windwaker HD. And everyone will be celebrating Nintendo, even though it’s just ports of old (and as a Zelda fan I’ll say it : “dated”) games that already got HD rereleases in the past.
This is what we really want : Another 2D Zelda remake in the style of Link’s Awakening, (A full on 3D zelda remake would obviously be even better, but I feel they’ll keep that for switch2, probably for the best) anything new Donkey Kong because it’s been 10 years, and a remake of a GBA game in wich he’s the villain really doesn’t count, Remake of Kid Icarus Uprising, Anything Starfox because it’s been 10 years. Metroid 4. (But I’d take Prime 2,3 remastered or a remake of an older 2D metroid game) Pokemon Let’s Go Johto, Wario Land.
There. I said it. Yet I feel none of the above will get an announcement. Nintendo got away with it these last 2 years. I got 2 games worth the money on my system: Zelda Totk and Mario Wonder. That’s it. Princess Peach was a letdown (how a game that size didn’t even run at 60 fps is beyond me) it had so much more potential. Instead it was essentially a worse Kirby game. Mario vs. Donkey Kong sure was fun, but not at all worth 50$ in today’s market. Paper Mario: Great game. Again, it should’ve ran at 60fps. Feels like another Cash in. Luigi’s Mansion 2? From the footage I’ve seen it actually doesn’t look that polished, same story.
We love you Nintendo. But this one better be good.

Prime 4 won't be a launch game. They're not going to sell Metroid,, an arguably Tier 3 selling franchise, as a system seller, when Nintendo is a Japanese company, when that audience doesn't buy Metroid or first person games. Launch window? Maybe. Cross-gen, yes. $70, yes. Digital only on Switch 1? Watch and be amazed by Nintendo's mismanagement of Metroid appear! Not all franchises are equal in Nintendo's eyes.
Nintendo built Metroid in the mind of IMPROVING Mario and Zelda, it's sales figures values very little compared to its influence in the Gaming Industry so I heavily disagree with you on this and Most of the Prime Games have been launch titles anyway...
