how about north neo 12m as a light wind kite for freestyle, freeride and a bit of waves?
Wath do you think of the Edge for lighwind freestyle and big air....?
edge is pretty good for big air and old school. propably not that good for freestyle. For lightwind i would rather buy the ozone chrono in 15m. In my opinion the best kite for low wind and hangtime.

For a weak wind, you need more board (at least 150x45) ua-cam.com/video/ALuup9d_XKY/v-deo.html. If you look at F-one then Breeze 15m will be better
Have you concidered the switch helium 2 15,5m?, I have the helium 1 18m, but i am 25 kg's heavier than you. I learnt my realey's on that kite and s bends are going great to. It's so forgiving that I came closer to landing it than on my 10m c kite. But with your weight just going for a big size c kite can be better for freestyling. I wouldn't expect much big air from kites that size.

can you please elaborate on the difference...im a beginner with years of quality wakeboarding experience...im looking for my first kite that i can get on the water the most days this summer..i live in S Dakota. Avg wind seems to be 10-15 mph. I have taken a kiteboarding lesson and was riding in 2 hours. I was thinking to get a light wind kite to start with and as i get better buying a North Dice or something in a smaller size like 12MM and then buy an 8MM as I progress.which im thinking will be relitively fast.
It all depends on your weight, since 10-15 mph is really small. With a weak wind, beginners have problems with gliding. Here you need a good kit (board, kite) for a light wind.
