Thanks for sharing Pearl. Just like my mum used to cook stew but with dumplings and pieces of bacon thrown in. Looking forward to cook some on Sunday. Stay blessed.
Thank you for the recipie Pearl. I made it the way you have so nicely described. The important part... 1 Kg of meat... You left to the last. It came out nicely. Thank you.
I really enjoy watching your recipes. Brings all the nostalgia back the way you used to teach us back in St. Francis. I was in 1st grade back then in 1993 I guess. Sending you all the love. ❤️
So sweet of you to always say a prayer before starting your video. I admire the way you have kept yourself fit, and sharing videos of these tips also. God bless you with good health and long life. Best wishes from New Zealand 💞💞💞

Hi Pearl, the saying goes, 'the way to a man's heart is through his stomach ', by gad you've done it, The stew recipe is really droolicious, reminds me of my Momma's cooking, I'm 76 years young and a foodie, love all your lovely recipes, keep them rolling girl, stay blessed.
I’m an A.I. from Calcutta. Left in 1961. Thanks I see you still use a dekchi (so do I sometimes). I make stew similar to yours but this is the first time I have seen dhaniya sag added. Will try it next time. I’ll soon be 90!!! and still learning!
Hi Dear Pearl, lovely lamb stew must try your delicious recipes. Please give us a lovely lamb roast or turkey roast. I will be so thankful to you 🙏. Im too any AI frm Tamil Nadu.😂.
I have never put coriander in my stew, sometime next week I will be making an Oxtail stew 🥘 I make my Anglo Indian dumplings with flour and water roll it out and cut into diamond shapes and add it to the stew for the last 15 minutes, that tends to thicken the stew!
My dad used to sell this in his restaurant. People loved it! Tried looking up a recipe for my wife to learn that she is Russian and I finally found the recipe here! We just add green chilies for the fragrance and spice.
I make stew exactly the same way only i dont use atta i use cornsrarch only mix the cornstarch with cold water.thank u pearl Merry xmas to u and your family
I did find a way to save time was to cut and boil the vegetables, while going about preparing and cooking the meat. That way both the meat and veges are ready together. I used a pressure cooker. 10 minutes striking the meat and spices in the pan, and then it took 10 minutes and 5 whistles on the pressure cooker. I added the veges in then. And the roasted flour. It came out superb. Thank you.
Pearl m a goan we have a similar ingredients except for bay leaves n red chili. Green chillies n fresh coriander I ground to fine paste, I must try ur recipe once I go to Goa as v don't get good beef in Mumbai. 😋
Thank you aunty, back in the day mumma cooked everything in the fat, without adding any oil. She always got a big piece of "charbi" from the meat shop.
Hi Lovina, no I put it as it is as it has so much time to cook so it doesn’t need browning it, but I’m sure if I did, it would taste just as delicious 🤗❤️

Great 👍I’m sure that’s delicious as well 🤗❤️🙏🏽
Lovely concoction, liked the idea of adding wheat flour instead of cornflour or mandatory.
Yes Mabel I have tried it with Madia too , but it’s more delicious with wheat flour 😋🤗👌🏻👍🏻❤️

@@sharon7lyrd I didn’t roast the flour in this video I used plain chapati flour , but if you roasted the flour that must also be very tasty ❤️😁🙏🏽

Take a look at South African Indian cuisine, very similar to Anglo Indian!
I sure will do 😁👌🏻❤️
Read as cornflour or maida

Where your garlic
Hi Anthony, Can’t understand 🤔which recipe are you enquiring about ?
@@pearlskitchen9999 it’s the lamb stew which doesn’t include garlic?
