Making a zip around long wallet(PDF pattern)

  • This tutorial shows you how to make a fully lined zip-around long wallet.
    I try to demonstrate with easily accessible tools. That is, use whatever appropriate tools you have at hand. No mold needed.
    Difficulty level: High
    Materials~
    Leather: soft veg tanned shoulder(suggested thickness is clearly indicated on the pattern)
    Zipper: #5 YKK Excella
    Lining: 0.1mm non-woven fabric with adhesive(bought from taobao.com)
    Spec:
    card slot x 12
    bill compartment x 2
    zip pocket x 1
    Dim: 20cm(L) x 10.5cm(W) x 2.3cm(T)

      @@lavantiatw I make hand bags with cork, and know a little about the time, skill and patience needed to make a quality bag. This is the reason why I have never attempted to work with leather, as you have shown, it is labor intensive, precision is a must as leather is not forgiving, the time taken to prepare all the parts, plus edge coating, It is a labor of love and art. You, my friend are gifted!
