Giovannis was excellent when I was there. Fuji's was very good as well. A must is to go to the Dole plantation and get a Dole whip with fresh pineapple. Absolutely delicious.
We went to to Jenny’s because Giovanni’s line was ridiculous. Glad we went to Jenny’s bc it was straight🔥! There was no line and more parking. Best shrimp I’ve ever had.
I agree 💯! I just returned from Hawaii where I tried three different trucks. Jenny’s was by far the best!! It was the first one I tried so I couldn’t wait to try Giovanni’s as it came highly recommended by my niece, a local. I next came across North Shore Shrimp and was quite disappointed as it didn’t seem fresh like Jenny’s. The following day my expectations for Giovanni’s was high and I couldn’t imagine it being better than Jenny’s but kept thinking it must be. I got it at the Kahuku location and was so disappointed as it tasted like the North Shore’s shrimp. Our order at Jenny’s took a bit longer to receive which resulted in a fresher quality. Both North Shore and Giovanni’s seemed pre-made.

If the Giovanni's in the Hmart cooks it to order, then it should be better. The truck seemed to have the shrimp pre-cooked and just waiting to be served to help move the line faster. This probably impacted quality.
@@damianchung we always hit up big wave when in Hawaii. Sometimes Giovanni's shrimp is mushy when peeling it which tells you it might not be the freshest.
Fumi’s Kahuku shrimp is so flavorful, my favorite spot.
Fumi's was a stop, but it wasn't on video. I don't think you can go wrong with any of these trucks!

Giovanis is the BEST
Giovanni's isn't very good. Been there a few times and was never impressed, all hype. Big Wave's quality goes above and beyond Giovanni's by a lot.
I agree! When you put them back to back it’s quite clear which one is better. But I’m never saying no to garlic shrimp.
