Dany says "The sun is your enemy today" and then later Pau said "The sun is my enemy today" Illustrating how a disciple will believe and repeat whatever her hero says, no matter how unreasonable or absurd.

Disciple is a “warning” against blind devotion to whoever has the most appeal regardless of substance.

The meaning of the song is in the title. It's about blindly and unthinkingly following a leader.
Their sound is HUGE and it's because of their rhythm section. Bass and drums alone can fill the auditorium if Dany stops playing guitar entirely.
Pau, the drummer is a fully capable lead singer as well, and from behind the drum kit! Many people will recommend Dust to Dust to hear her sing and play, but really the song 23 is her best drumming plus singing performance. You'll be blown away!
There is a song sung in Spanish, Narcisista, where Pau lets a friend take over drums and she sings from stage front. She's got stage presence out the wazoo.

They are not cookie-cutter lyric writers. This song is a sarcastic back-and-forth between two social media stereotypes, a malicious spreader and a blind follower. "Queen of the Murder Scene", their second album, is described as "a concept album which tells the story of a disturbed young woman's inner journey from desire to obsession to murder and madness. The songs are told from the point of view of either the young lady's inner psychopath or her good side, which has a conscience - until it does not."

Disciple is about blind followers of any ridiculous things on social media. That closing line "You shall remain - inside your space - of ignorance!" says it all. Their song XXI Century Blood from their first album back in 2017 has a similar message about the dangers of getting completely absorbed into social media and ignoring reality. If you haven't checked out the video for that one yet, you really need to (also written by them when they were just between 12 and 16). It is absolutely EPIC.

Yes, that is the drummer singing, and killing it. Pau sings co-lead here with Dany. And , yes, that fill !!!, one of my favorites🤘🤘 .
Disciple is from their 3rd album, Error. Love this song as an early reaction because you get lead vocals from all 3 of them. Co-lead from Dany and Pau, and the "2 3 Go" line is Ale's. Dany and Ale both have l.e.d.'s on the necks. One of the things mentioned in the gear master video rundowns on "digital tour bus'. each sister has an episode.
No , not climate change. Here is what Pau said: "So Disciple is about social media and how opinions are bought on social media and are fed to us in a way that we don’t even know. And how by breeding ignorance and cultivating hate people gain a lot of power and money. So that’s what Disciple is about"
Pau sings full lead on some songs too, try "Dust to Dust" or "23" from this concert to see that.

This is a duet of Dany playing the part of a cult leader and Pau playing the part of the disciple. Pau sings lead from the first chorus and ends her first part with the “Swimming with the fishes” stanza. This song is about blindly following people on social media and repeating what you see or hear on social media, whether it’s true or not. Pau ends the song with a final Warning…”You shall remain, inside your space, of ignorance!”⚡️🤘🏽

This was the second of two sold-out shows in a prestigious theater in Mexico City where it is considered an honor to perform. The venue seats somewhere around 3500 people. Last year they sold out an 8000 seat venue in Mexico City. They just put tickets on sale a week ago for a concert in February at a 10,000 seat nvenue and it sold out in less than a week. They are adding another date in the same venue. SO, they are becoming more popular in Mexico. They are currently on their first headlining tour in Europe were they have sold out every show in fairly good sized venues. Their audience is growing worldwide.

It is not about climate change lol. It is about following ideas without thinking (becoming a disciple) Dany starts singing the sun is Your enemy today, and then Paulina the drummer sings the sun is My enemy today, like a good disciple who is just repeating like a monkey what the other said. They said this is about following social media ideas without a critical mind. I always thought it was also about cov**d cause when was the sun our enemy? Meaning that we couldn't get outside of our houses. Anyhow, it is not about climate change.

Their chord progressions are reminiscent of Steely Dan back in the 70's and 80's. They had chord progressions and vocal harmonies that were off the wall, but they just worked! If you watch some of their vlogs and interviews, Pau sort of explains their musical (and composing) progression throughout three different full albums (soon to be 4). 'Queen of the Murder Scene' it was all about key changes! That sort of carried into 'Error', which this song is from. Guaranteed you won't run out of material to react to for quite a while, between the studio albums, pro-shot live stuff, fan videos, interviews, vlogs and more!!! You can pretty much pick any song you want and it'll be good.😄 They're almost a unicorn in the rock world, since I don't know of any other band in existence that doesn't have at least one or more crappy tunes. Some of them are better than others, but not one truly bad track in their whole catalog!😲Welcome to The Warning Army Matt.. Enjoy the ride!! 🤘😎🤘

I think the 2017 TEDx performance where they introduce three songs from their soon to be released first album would be an excellent next video to react to. A bit longer, but well worth it as they talk about themselves briefly between songs.

Don't forget also the first presentation at TEDx 2016 also very important and without that one there wouldn't be the second one.

@@hansjohansson7111Even more amazing was the first presentation because Ale was 11, Pau 13 and Dani 15
And Ale was great in her speaking part.

They have some slower, emotional songs too. Like "Revenant", or "Breathe". Pau won't do "Breathe" live at their show's, but did it for their 10th anniversary show at The Pepsi center in Mexico city as a thank you to all their fans who have followed them from the beginning. ( or at least that's what I read somewhere.) It's powerful. Both songs are just as amazing as the bangers.

@@teckreactions I think he meant that if people like us who grew up during the '60s - '80s when Rock was worth listening to ( _in our opinion_ ) we can only hear it performed by old bands with their members past retirement age, we can suddenly hear it performed again by young bands like The Warning or Band-Maid.
