Que hermoso Accord V6..aca en Argentina tengo gracias a Dios un Accord V6 2010 impecable poderoso elegante. Simpre tuve Honda .no lo camnio por nada ..❤bendiciones para todos
I just bought a 2016 EX-L coupe v6 auto 1 owner clean carfax with all maintenance records(receipts from the dealership it was serviced at) since it was bought new. They had just had the timing belt and tensioner, water pump and alternator belt replaced. Happy and feel lucky I was able to find what I've been waiting for in a good price range at $13k. I've been driving a 2005 Chevy Tahoe for 13 years, it was wild test driving this car. The amount of tech in it is crazy compared to what I'm used to. Feels like going from a Gameboy to a smartphone.
Went and test drove a V6 accord of the exact same year today. Loved it! However; it has 122k miles, I checked the car fax and there’s little no service records. It was a one owner car owned locally. I have no idea if the timing belt job has already been done. With that kinda mileage I would assume so. But do you know how to know or pinpoint whether it’s been done at any point?
I honestly don’t. When I did the timing belt on my 98 Accord, the shop put a sticker on the engine cover with the date and mileage it was done at; this time around, they did not do so. If it’s not in the CarFax, I’d assume that it’s either never been done, or it was done by someone other than a professional. They are great cars, but finding one that’s already had it done could save you lots of money in the long run.
@@whitneythe6thgenaccord680 whats wrong with the trans , i had the 2014 cvt and i couldnt wait to upgrade to the v6 im in the market for a new car now , is there something wrong with the v6 trans?
@@cortezttd6225 There’s nothing wrong with it persay. The 6-speed auto shifts smooth for the most part. Just make sure you keep up with transmission fluid changes. If you get it maintained at a dealer or shop, make sure you tell them to do a drain and refill, not a flush.
@@whitneythe6thgenaccord680 thanks for the info, im actually going to test drive your exact car tommorow, i thought you all were saying the trans had issues at first i saw another video where you did pros and cons , you said that you would have preferred the manual v6 which is understandable since you’re a car enthusiast. i just want something faster than most of the cars on the road with good gas mileage since its gonna be my daily. i think the v6 auto will be a huge upgrade from my 4cyl cvt good videos tho bro pretty informative
The best middle ground probably would have been to go with a borla. They have an axle back that still gives some muffling but is a lot more noise friendly than the stock exhaust. If you will. There are also resonators that can be put in that would also help to alleviate a no muffler situation. But I do think for the long run you'd made the right choice and going back to a more stock configuration. It's an absolutely gorgeous car. I have the same color combination for exterior and interior in a 2013.
I'm at 76k on mine...had to purge air from coolant and put a new coolant temp sensor in. VCM deleted long time ago. Wow $2300 for 100k service, not cheap
@@whitneythe6thgenaccord680 how did the old timing belt look? Did you ask to see it? Some let it go 150k. How did the plugs look? I always ask to see the old parts.
@@fzr1000981 That’s a great idea. I didn’t see any of the old parts. My work schedule is pretty tight, so I dropped it off and picked up when it was ready the next day.
I understand where your coming from, I personally would not change my 2013 honda accord sport for anything, at least until it starts to fall apart but so far it’s been very reliable and fun to ride. Added some nice rims and added Michelin cross climate 2’s and its perfect. 2013-15 has the right amount of technology for me. Because I hate parking sensors that can’t be turned off, fucking annoying.
For sure, I have an independent Honda shop that I use also. In this case, them and the dealership were around the same price, and I needed the timing belt done as soon as possible.

That’s a steal for that car! Congratulations on your purchase, I hope you continue to enjoy it.

Mine sold a month ago fun fast car but the transmission what prevented me from buying Honda Accord V6 again!!
Automatic transmissions with the V6 have never been Honda’s strong suit for some reason.

Thanks! The only thing I would change about it would be having black leather instead of gray. Other than that, it’s perfect to me.

Yeah, it definitely was a hit to my bank account, but I didn’t want to prolong it any longer.

Understandable, even the lane departure warning on mine annoys me sometimes.
Dealership is always a scam bro. U gotta find a good mechanic
