Exactly. And Craig Holbrook reacted beautifully showing genuine joy for his friend’s terrific finish to their match. Both bowlers rolling a 400 series! Don Gillis was beside himself for weeks referencing that terrific match.
This is the first time I've seen Tommy on something other than channel 5, not counting his appearances on BSB on UA-cam. I assumed after channel 5 went off the air, he was done

Me about 1 month ago: Why is youtube recommending candlepin bowling?
Me today: Tom Olzsta is the greatest sportsman of all time.
Same here. I've been watching these videos for about a week. Tom Olzsta must be the GOAT or pretty close.
Ha ha, the same. I found candlepin a couple of weeks ago and I'm now watching every Tom Olzsta match.
@@gynandroidheadHe’s definitely the best of the televised era.
Seeing Tom Olszta (my all time favorite candlepin bowler) on this show is like watching Channel 5 all over again! Enjoyed!
BMP
My favorite also.I would love to know how much.money he won on wcvb tv
First video I see an old Tom
That wasn't entirely accurate about Olstza's triple to beat Craig Holbrook. He needed 25 pins I think not 29. Still incredible.

@@johncirillo9544 Two of the best ever.
Actually Tom's first appearance was during a televised mixed doubles tournament in 1985.
Wonder who that was on the mic for the grudge match.
I caught that as well Jeff bugea

He had an appearance on Comcast too about a year after this show. I'm going to guess that was his last time on TV.
